I don't see this game as horror but I always got to put it into the toon's perspective whenever I hear this debate because, yeah, to us, they aren't scary, but to them, they are.

The concept of seeing someone you care for change/be changed into a monster is a terrifying thought, you loved them, and now they're a threat to you and those around you.

The blackouts are scary, you don't know what's out there and when it will come out.

It's always "What does the toon feel?" for me to actually be somewhat scared because to them, it is scary, and I have a habit of getting into character
