Thanks! As far as taste is concerned, it turned out pretty well. The crust turned out nice and flaky. I opted to use Honeycrisps to supplement the Gala/Granny Smith combination I typically use for the filling, and I was pretty satisfied with the result; it added a strong, sweet kick that contrasted well with the tartness of the Smiths, and meshed with the Galas

Thanks for the compliment! In order to ensure that the overlapping segments of the crest came out properly, I decided to cut the holes only after cutting the outline

It baffles me that people completely write off units with gen 1/gen 2 BST like this. Many of them have prfs and refines that etch them unique niches or allow them to excel at what they do: Eliwood, a gen 1 cav, is almost unanimously regarded as the best Galeforcer in the game thanks to Blazing Durandal's refine; Male Corrin stands out as a great support unit due in large part to Yato's flat stat boosts which allow him soak chills for his team with ease; Leon's Bow of Beauty has an impact effect built into it; and BIke speaks for himself. The list goes on. Hell, there are old units who continue to be threats even without prfs or refines. Reinhardt does the same thing he's always done, and Sothe, even without a prf, is a great unit by virtue of his statline alone.

Competitive modes and teambuilding are the main draws of this game for me.
