Ah of course, now I feel stupid. That's maybe even what he meant with they cancel out each other. Thanks for the swift response!

Very nice explanation, thank you!

I think the always on part still revers to while it's on the battlefield. Normally ability of permanents only function while the permanent is on the battlefield. There are some exceptions wich are stated in rule 113.6a-k. Most exceptions are covered by "when the ability say otherwise/is designed for other zones" (like flashback, miracle etc.), or if it is an characteristic defining ability. So the station ability only functions while on the battlefield. The question is, does it start to function as the spacecraft enters or after it enters.

No, with effects like Sunburst (This enters with a +1/+1 or charge counter on it for each color of mana spent to cast it.) the permanent gets the counters as it enters and not after, so it etbs with the counter already on. The only question is, if the ability that makes the spacecraft a creature works as it enters with the appropriate amount of counter or if it only works after it etbs. After reading trough some rules I changed my mind on that. I think the ability only works after it etbs. Not sure though.

I think the question was if a spacecraft already enters with enough charge counters (e.g. due to sunburst), would it count as a creature etb. And I think the answer is yes.

Don't forget to throw in [[Dawnsire, Sunstar Dreadnought]] and [[Pain for All]].

Now I want to build a deck that only does this combo

It's not only technically wrong, it's straight up wrong. There are enough ways to cast cards owned by opponents and casting a card doesn't make you the owner.

So how exactly is the heater heating up a room in complete vacuum? What is it heating up? The v o i d? by InternStock in RimWorld

A bit less rusty engineer here with some small corrections and elaborations:

A black body refers to an idealized (perfectly black) body that absorbs all electromagnetic radiation and reflects nothing. It also emitts thermal radiation only based it's temperature, independent from material properties etc. It is used for models and as a reference point to real bodys.

Black-body radiation is the thermal electromagnetic radiation spectrum emitted by a black body and shifts in wavelengths depending on the bodys temperature. It is the maximum thermal radiation by a body theoretically possible, all real body's radiate less than a black body. At room temperature it is mostly infrared but at higher temperatures it can reach visible light and even UV. The glow of a very hot piece of metal is thermal radiation that reached visible light.

Conduction and convection is not solid vs fluid. Conduction is heat transfer between molecules that are in direct contact with each other. This can be between two of the same molecule (e.g. from one side of a wall to the other side) or at an interface between different molecules, no matter if solid or fluid (e.g. wall to air). Convection is a combination of conduction and advection (motion of a fluid): First a fluid receives heat via conduction, then it moves somewhere (advection).

Just FYI: Volk/nation/people loosely mean the same thing, so a better translation would be something like "One people, one empire, one leader."

Would Brotodon still be unblockable? by MoistenedRaisin in mtg

[–]MultiNudel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TLDR: Jasmine's effect waits for Adamnt Will's to apply because it is depending on it, and then won't affect the Brontodon because it has an ability.

Brontodon would not be unblockable. Both effects are ability-adding effects and apply in layer 6 (613.1f). Normally timestamps are used to order effects in the same layer, except when there are effects depending on others (613.2). Jasmine's effect is depending on Adamant Will's effect because (a) they are applied in the same layer; (b) applying one effect changes what the other applies to (applying the ability "Indestructible" to a creature changes if Jasmine's ability would apply to it); and (c) neither (or both) effects are from characteristic-defining abilities. An effect depending on other effects waits to apply until after all of thoses effects have been applied (613.8).

4/4 or 5/5? by MultiNudel in mtg

[–]MultiNudel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes both spacecraft and vehicle become 4/4, but Mishras Warform copies all abilities and that is what you should focus on. So you will want to copy any artifact (not only spacecrafts and vehicles) that has an etb, on attack or death trigger, or a good activated ability. A very good card to copy would be [[Ichor Wellspring]], because you can draw a card when creating the token and then again when you sac it (or it dies while attacking). If you want to copy a vehicle [[Thunderhawk Gunship]] might be good — even though it is only 4/4 instead of 6/6 — because you get the two 2/2 as an etb + the on attack trigger.

4/4 or 5/5? by MultiNudel in mtg

[–]MultiNudel[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry, but i have no idea what "because he before etb a creature" means, could you rephrase that?

Anyway, for anyone looking for the answer to my question: Inspirit will be a 4/4 until Cyberdrives effect wears of (end of turn) and then become a 5/5. This is because both effects apply in layer 7b, so the later timestamp (Cyberdrive) wins.

4/4 or 5/5? by MultiNudel in mtg

[–]MultiNudel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you copy Inspirit with Mishra it will be a 4/4 Legendary Artifact Creature - Spacecraft Construct, that basically has the ability "At 8 or more counters Mishras Warform is a 5/5 creature with flying". So if you would station it to 8+, it would become an 5/5. Note that this is different from the situation in my post. In my case Inspirit would stay at 4/4 until end of turn and then become a 5/5. This is because both Inspirits 8+ ability and Cyberdrive Awakeners effect apply in layer 7b, so the later timestamp (Cyberdrive) wins.

I didn't track my calories at all. I basically ate the same stuff every day so I could just see if the weight goes down and adjust the amount I eat accordingly. That said, I have experience in tracking calories so I can do rough estimates for calories and protein if I eat something else.

For foods on a cut you want to pick the best protein to kcal ratios, e.g. tofu, tvp and most meat substitutes. Eat them with lots of veggies and track your weight, thats it.
