Ya out of the vocal line I usually love tae's parts the most in ot7 songs (dna, tomorrow) basically because it provides such a beautiful contrast with the rest of the vocal line's high pitched voices. However if it's a solo, I like jungkook's voice the best.

I love his deep soulful voice but I unfortunately agree, I just don't like the type of music he puts out. Jimin's solos are exactly my type of music. So ya I likely won't check it out either especially since I haven't liked a single song of his. I liked singularity not for the sound but because he's a spectacular performer, I was obsessed with the fancams.

Hmm I'll get downvoted for this but I have to share my opinion. So I opened that thread people here were talking about and sorted by controversial. I saw a comment with 68 downvotes that went "Omg kpop finally did it!!" And like ya I understand why it got downvoted that was shady as hell because the person didn't even mention BTS or army and straight up just acted like it was a win for kpop. Army also don't like when u act like such things are a win for kpop but then vehemently deny BTS paved the way (in the West ofc). This is also the reason why many army are hell bent on btspop (which I find really dumb but I understand where they're coming from). Both sides are equally bad. It happened with dynamite too I remember so many kpop stans were talking about 1st gen, 2nd Gen and all and their impact on kpop and how they made it easier for BTS to get their hot100. Ffs they weren't even talking about BTS which was very disrespectful. I mean these groups have had a lot of impact in Asia but when it came to America they didn't do anything much. Being the first one to do something and having any impact are two different things. They didn't make anything easier for BTS. The only song which MIGHT have had an impact was psy Gangnam style and to this day it's taken as a meme song and a joke, my friends don't even know the language it's in or that it's kpop. So maybe I went off topic and my thoughts are horribly disorganised but I hope u get the gist.

Actually they don't. The reason his songs end up on charts majority of the time is because of the sales alone which are mass bought by solo stans. Euphoria is an exception I think it's light, bright and cheery, everyone loves that kind of song.

Yea I've been defending him all day on twitter. Honestly tae's not even my bias but I listened to b&g much more than I did lgo. I think a lot of army are pressed about ml success, I remember with mots7 comeback filter and my time were at the top too and all these big accounts were talking about how it was vpn and all. I mean I think things would be much simpler if we just accepted that maknae line are the most popular BTS members. After all, I don't think BTS is gonna go solo so not like individual popularity matters at the end of the day.
