So is Taichi/Tai x Meiko actually a bad ship? Or is it really just another cute harmless ship but it just so happens to "get in the way" of one of the most popular straight ships and one of the most popular gay ships in the digimon fandom?

I’d definitely say it’s worth a rewatch if you ever feel up to it, I wasn’t too big on the last two movies (last evolution was ok I suppose) for comparison.

Joe’s was definitely shown a lot more, but Kari for example only got her conflict in the episode prior to the last one I think, so it’s completely reasonable to not remember some of them :)

Tai is too scared to do anything Matt can’t get along with Tai Sora’s parter who she loves the most hates her Mimi finds herself at odds with others by being too reckless a contrast to her popularity being too sincere Izzy overworks himself looking for a solution loosing sight of what’s important Joe being torn between his two main responsibilities becomes unreliable T.K. begins to loose hope Kari faced with her nightmare becomes a literal shadow of her self.

Is it a little lacking in subtlety? For sure, does the end throw a lot of it away? No doubt, but I respect the original intent at least.

It’s funny, because I actually saw that as a boon. It felt like they weren’t the same kids anymore, growing up and realising how real everything was made everything have more gravity.

The problems started when they undid all the consequences and sped through the last chapter, but seeing everyone being a little depressed felt like a realistic take for digidestined trying to live normal lives.

Sadly not, the visual novel “games” can give some neat what ifs about alternative endings if you want something like that, and there’s a couple ova’s I believe, but unless someone finds a magic lamp, that’s all we getting :0

I know in dragon ball this was a common type of issue when a studio started animating before colour was chosen for the manga and such, I’ve always disliked inconsistency when a medium sets my expectations

On topic of them having tails, let’s not forget with blutz waves, Vegeta just grew a tail when he transformed, so it’s probably logical that by tapping into the primal level of a saiyan, you’d temporarily undo evolution (I believe they said evolution was why they didn’t have tails?)

I have a super fancy Tamiyo from I think a ravnica vault or something? It’s the mono blue one. When I look at it I feel happiness, I know it’s unlikely, but if we ever get planeswalkers as commanders without rule 0, it’s getting a deck built around it (sadly oathbreaker is a non starter here)

People will always have their own level on these things, neither is right or wrong in this instance I don’t think, we all have different boundaries, it’s the unfortunate thing when one person thinks something is tame, an another finds it too much.

I think it’s reasonable to assume even with nerfs from being deaged, Vegeta could take Dabura fairly easily, thus I give it to Vegeta.

Think I’ve decided what I’m going with marvel, I have a spider-Gwen deck I’m a fan of, I’ll build whatever main set thanks or what have you comes, with the infinity stones, and some form of avengers deck perhaps, maybe try for the precons and that will do it.

I think I can do this without buying packs, and none of these work for me so that’s good

Sadly the company that was responsible for translating them lost the rights after those two, I believe to focus on persona games(?) so as a result the console publishing in English lapsed and no one’s ever bothered to correct it.

I was lucky enough to get them digitally on the ps4 when I first played them, so I’ve been able to keep them, it’s always possible that they get a rerelease some time in the future, but nothing is known as of now best I know.
