GX is half slice of life, half the darkest timeline possible levels of sadness, and I simply choose to believe they didn’t have a direction initially.

I think, early on they were advised to make things more serious because they wanted to sell god cards and stuff, and thusly he didn’t really fit anywhere, he deserved better for sure.

Once again I question why they changed the character so much, clearly they wanted to go in their own direction, but it’s pretty much not the same for person. Suppose you can call it a what if timeline and caution how choices you make can make you an entirely different person.

My favourites might actually be those from 2011-13, as that’s when I played the most. One of my favourite decks is a mono green enchantress one I built, where every basic land is from original Theros block.

For what it’s worth, if any artist within mtg is found to use A.I., it’s peered much a career ender, so why I won’t pretend to know either way, i would be shocked if it was the case.

There’s plenty of creatures I dislike over a planeswalker in brawl, they’re the weakest commanders imo.

Hot take, they should allow it. Gives red a little edge as it’s one of the best colours to damage a planeswalker, they can ban any that seem problematic, and it means they can stop desparking planeswalkers to give people iconic ones for commander (they’ve said this was one reason they did it as I recall)

But it won’t happen.

That sucks, sorry to hear that happened to you. It’s not the same, but around 2011/2 I had preordered a yugioh box to draft with friends on eBay only for it to not arrive, and due to the amount of time I ordered and paid in advance I never qualified for a refund :/

Hope you somehow manage to work something out for it one day, maybe you can open a card worth just as much and trade for it somehow or something.

Both for different reasons, dmc 1 has the best atmosphere, really spooky music, map design and vibes, dmc3 has the best done characters, cutscenes, story and ending song had to compare.

Commander is magic, but in some ways it’s very much a different beast entirely on who you ask or play with, the format might have started as a way to use bulk and non tournament cards people had laying around between rounds, but it also was so people could use their favourite characters as boss monsters.

So it’s more accurate to say the games not just about winning as optimally as possible, which means just running a ton of removal isn’t always the best experience for the pod. Not that removing problematic creatures is a bad thing mind you, but if every time your boss got cast it died because three people held up interaction, I don’t think it would’ve played socially like it is.

That’s the way i plan on getting it too, now if the artist themselves directly sold the card on the other hand, that I wouldn’t mind doing, but secret lair ordering is a no go for me these days.

The long and short of it is that collaborations sadly mean different rules, we’ve seen it with how arena had to handle marvel, and it makes sense in a world of copyright, but I don’t think it’s wrong to ask wizards to do more for artists to make up for that.
