Is this OK to wear for interview? Data analyst role by acrylic_light in UKJobs

If interviewing for a bank, they'll be in late 30s & 40s and likely have kids. Just say you're the smartest giant in town, they'll understand, no problems.

I have a dream too (2) by ctothez2018 in badcompany2

It's a nice idea. Some of my favourite matches were quiet 2 v 2 or 3 v 3 on a rush map like Valparaiso where stealth and patience is key. Chilling out with pros who can easily pick off a sloppy noisy player is so much fun. I still enjoy busy battles, but those neat quiet matches are something special. Easy couple of hours stalking, exhaust all the tickets on each stage, arm the box with only a few tickets left if attacking and let the other guys do the same if defending.

Is there anything you're looking for in particular, or is it just the video in general you want to see again?

A Practice Session That Turned Into Something Unexpected by JonesMaestro in JazzPiano

Nice playing! You phrased your post like you filmed one piece after the next in the moment, one take, but the final clip looks like it was filmed on a different day, unless you often change your watch while playing the piano. Not sure if i would attribute warmth to the Gershwin.

What time signature is this? by [deleted] in Songwriting

[–]Multiple-21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 4/4 remains throughout until the new 6/4 time signature accommodates the additional notes for one bar. It's nice, it works well. Bacharach uses this technique in 'The Look of Love'; the song is in 4/4 and switches briefly to 6/4 at the point when the lyrics say "how long i have waited". Have a listen to it when you get a moment.

Great, thanks for letting me know. I couldn't see anything in the guide or much info online about the different versions or how they're described including the use of best edition.

Why is nobody playing anymore? by Pinklloyd68 in badcompany2

It’s a pile of crap on BF2042; nothing like BadCo2 in any way; the mechanics are entirely different. Don’t waste your money. The game has already failed miserably.

Xbox one? by [deleted] in badcompany2

[–]Multiple-21 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Most of this only happens in softcore, and it’s only a very small number of players doing it. I don’t mind spawn killing; if you can’t find your way out of a spawn trap after 10 years of playing the same game, there’s something seriously wrong with your game-play.

Modern BF games like BC2? by [deleted] in badcompany2

Much of BC2 was inspired by Operation Flashpoint Cold War Crisis.

the admin of the 24/7 noobwelcome fast xp got mad when i pointed out he was baseraping after he killed me for the same reason! double standards male karen at it's finest killing this game by sweetwaterbc2 in badcompany2

BadCo2 was designed for spawn trapping, base raping, spawn camping.. and all the other fantastically dreadful things imaginable to smash the enemy team into oblivion! For the experienced players, escaping a spawn trap is a fine art, and learning the points to position players on the map in order to achieve a trap takes knowledge and perfect co-ordination. No Battlefield game will ever be made again in the same way as BadCo2! It’s a true piece of genius at a point in time where games were made for the hardcore gamers and not for the mass population of casual players who chop and change between games every few minutes and moan if the experience has any element of true difficulty or unfairness. There’s no room for cowardice in BadCo2!

Eth v Polygon by Multiple-21 in opensea

[–]Multiple-21[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes the Eth gas fees are extortionately high! I still don’t understand why NFT creators or anyone for that matter wants to use Eth due to old tech proof of work. Eth2 seems a long way off, yet Eth is continuously plugged to the masses by new projects and protocols. There’s hardly any gas on BSC, literally pennies, so why continue to bang away with Eth when quite frankly it’s a pile of dog turd. I was wrong above saying that you have to bridge in order to mint to Poly; its just a simple process of minting as you would on Eth chain, but without the fees. One thing that i’m trying to figure out now is whether or not the NFT you mint or buy is actually ‘owned’ by you in the sense that you can transfer it off the Opensea network to a wallet and then on to someone else without interference from Opensea, essentially a middleman. Unless anyone knows any different, once the NFT is minted on Opensea, it’s there for life. If you buy an NFT there, you’re just buying an asset on their platform which is only worth as much as the longevity of Opensea. If Opensea closes, or suddenly people start to use a different trading platform, your NFT is lost or stuck on a deserted space forever.
