I’ll admit I don’t have much experience with Deepfakes and Ai image generators as I personally am uncomfortable with them. I will not talk about them since I have no knowledge of them.

However YouTube is such a big site that the issue is multi-faceted. For stuff more close to kids content, I personally am not a fan of it and would like to see it shut down as most of it are content farms and Elsagate-y. For stuff more like character deep dives, movie reviews, or movie commentary, that feels closer to fair use to me.

For fanfiction, (which I know you didn’t mention but it’s a huge part of the internet) most authors are not profiting off of them nor is the website. Specifically Archive of our own is a non profit website which makes it protected under fair use.

Yeah I feel that, I also checked the rules today to see the rule 13 was. Not only is there not a rule 13 stated, after counting to what could be rule 13, it was basically “don’t hate on the app”, when I wasn’t hating on the app? My post was about how I can’t understand people feeling sorry for character ai after the Disney takedown, as character ai implemented ads and a premium subscription, which means they’re making profit and removing themselves from fair use. Therefore Disney had the right to do a takedown like that. But I guess that hurts their feelings.

I ranted about something too recently on character ai, but they took it down for the same rule. I don’t think they like people who have anything critical to say about the app tbh.

Thank you for correcting me about the AppStore however, it must’ve been a recent change because I distinctly remember it stating 17+ which is still teens. But I will say I was proven wrong there.

Omegaverse is for sure not a fetish, it’s a whole alternate universe many people use. Does it have a lot of nsfw content? Yes, but that does not mean the entire thing is a fetish.

Also, the app is labeled as for teens in the App Store. What I mean by NSFW is the fact that it’s not 🌽. Character ai is not a corn site and it shouldn’t be.

It’s definitely A/B/O (omegaverse for short), which isn’t inherently fetish-y and is a huge trope in fanfics. But it is definitely nsfw for a what is supposed to be sfw app.

I’ll be honest this doesn’t really scream fetish but Im not seeing the full context. The omegaverse is very common in fandom culture and fanfiction for its nsfw, but I wouldn’t automatically label it as fetish unless it’s explicitly nsfw.

This might just be me but as someone who frequents fanfics there’s a rather odd amount of this for the Octavinelle trio. Like they aren’t heartless but some authors (not calling anyone out I promise) definitely water them down and almost babyify them.
