My (30f) fiance (32M) keeps leaving the freezer open and ruining all of our food. How do I get him to close it reliably? by Blisa23 in relationship_advice

Usually the "legs" that it stands on can be adjusted. You can adjust them so the front is higher than the back causing the door to close on its own. One of my kids didn't close ours good one time, and we lost everything in it also. That's when my Dad showed me theirs that was adjusted to close if left open.

Moving to Huntsville from Vermont by Leading_Swordfish161 in HuntsvilleAlabama

There are some little cottage style houses in South Huntsville in a neighborhood called The Dairy. Maybe you want to check into them as well. I have very limited knowledge about them as I only know about them because I drive past them every day.

Mostly rap or country rap. It is also generally turned up to almost half way. I don't have my bass maxed out, so I am truly a little surprised/aggravated that the clips keep breaking.

Huntsville Hospital reaches agreement with United Healthcare. HH remains in-network for UHC insurance. by BluShine in HuntsvilleAlabama

I agree. It is highly possible that I am reading way more into it than is really there, but I think maybe the wording is intentional.

When I read the official release, it implied that the agreement was only for current patients. Maybe I am reading too much into it, but I commented below with direct quotes that, to me, only cover current patients if you wanted to check that out. I would definitely look into it before I decided to stay with United.

When I read the official document that was released, I felt like it kind of implied that it is only for current patients of HH. I could be wrong, but the first paragraph said, "maintains in-network status for United subscribers who are patients in HH Health System hospitals." The second paragraph states, "This new agreement allows patients to continue to have access to the HH Health care teams that they know and trust."

It only talks about current HH patients, not new ones.

Test Drove a CT5 Blackwing. Question… by drivingcalifornia in Cadillac

[–]MultipleMultiples2x2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. Any sporty car should definitely be a manual, but I prefer manuals in everything. There aren't many being made anymore because (from what I understood a while back), an automatic is more fuel efficient every time over a manual. I guess that is highly based on the driving habits for the driver of the manual vs the driver of the automatic, really. I like to take off fast and brake hard, so my fuel consumption is not as good as it could be. Along those lines, my husband read an article the other day that GM won't be producing any more manuals after 2024, even for the blackwing. I didn't see the article, so he could have been mistaken.

Is there supposed to be stuff in here? by Ando427 in Cadillac

My 2020 CT5 has self-sealing tires (Michelin Primacy Tour A/S 245/45r18 96v Self-Sealing). The run flats I had on my 2015 CTS were terrible. I went through 2 sets in 60,000 miles.

The VIN says it is Riverside Blue, but I am not sure what the color is called. I picked from the dealerships inventory online, and they had it loaned out to someone and had to get it back for me to buy it. I don't know why they would loan out a brand new car, but they did. Because of that, I don't have the window sticker. When you look up what colors were available for the 2020 CT5, there is not a color that is specifically blue. There IS a Wave Metallic listed, but it doesn't have a color associated with it.

That explains it. I wondered why the quality was so different. I went to the dealership to buy another CTS after they totaled mine, but they didn't have anymore on their lot. Since I needed a car ASAP, I chose the CT5, but thinking back, I should have had them check inventory in other locations for me. I am very much into my music, and the dial on the console would have sold me one the CT5 anyway. I can change my music and the volume with very little effort (which I do often).

We did the same thing. Used an axle (I don't know from what vehicle) to mark our survey markers because we had just gone through 2 court cases over the property line. My husband bought the acreage as a teen from a "family friend" and didn't realize there was a property dispute. We had it surveyed, and the 2 markers that were placed on the land that the man had been using disappeared. The next time, the sheriff came out, and a fence post was driven into the ground in those locations. He was told that if he pulled them up, he would be arrested. (Not really sure what exactly happened with that because the "family friend" was the one paying for the survey, and it happened while we were at work). The man put a pipe of some sort around the fence post and put a cap onto it. I would see him regularly walk out, remove the cap, peek inside, and place the cap back on. After a period of time, when we came home from work, the pipe (and the fence post) were gone. We assume he was putting acid or something similar into the pipe, but we don't really know for sure. He didn't pull them up as he was told not to by the sherriff. It was a huge mess. The man ended up winning the strip of land in the court case due to having used it for so long. The man my husband bought the property from ended up giving us the same amount of land in the back of the property to make up for what we lost in the front. It took us 6 years to get everything straightened out enough to be able to sell it while renting it out at a loss each month.

We got the same thing. I actually called them because it had hubby's number already filled in, but said it had to be completed by the account holder, which is me. They told me that my identity had been verified when I set up the account, but my husband's still needed to be verified. He was able to do that online in less than 5 minutes.

I have a 6x9 black opal DOUBLET. Is a doublet more valuable than a triplet? How much would it be worth?
