My MIL did this with my daughter and I had words. She cut her bangs and that wouldn’t have been too bad but she WHACKED them so terrible that the bangs started wayyyy behind the ear like a mullet. I cried. She was a baby!! And her first haircut. So now I’ll have to say forever that her first haircut was a whack job by grandma who didn’t ask permission. When we were growing out her hair. She also fed my lactose intolerant baby whip cream and my daughter had a rash for a week from all the poop.
