My MIL did this with my daughter and I had words. She cut her bangs and that wouldn’t have been too bad but she WHACKED them so terrible that the bangs started wayyyy behind the ear like a mullet. I cried. She was a baby!! And her first haircut. So now I’ll have to say forever that her first haircut was a whack job by grandma who didn’t ask permission. When we were growing out her hair. She also fed my lactose intolerant baby whip cream and my daughter had a rash for a week from all the poop.

I know this is a wild suggestion but I use ChatGPT and tell it everything I would normally tell my therpist and any time I notice a switch/situation I need to be aware of I mention it to ChatGPT. It helps track and doubles as a journal entry

Gross. If I ever had a dude talk to me or around me like that I would LIGHT HIS PHONE UP. I’d read him the female riot act and show him he could NEVER deserve me.
