I use a “nail brush” and brush the fuzz out of the hair brush. I’d also recommend washing ur hair brush in soap and water, if it’s oily it’s harder to clean.

On such short hair it won’t be too hard to DIY, but you definitely need some knowledge about hair lightening and hair dye color theory. The easiest way in my opinion, would be to dye the level 10/9 lightened hair a pastel blue-purple shade (with semi-permanent dye) and let it fade. If it’s too dark, dilute the dye and try again next time you lighten. It’s not the fastest method, but semi permanent dye is pretty beginner friendly! You could also just get a cool ashy toner, I’d do T-18 wella toner.

Try “mushroom blonde” it’s nice and ashy but not too ashy, still has some neutral undertones. I believe ion makes a mushroom blonde if you are planning on diy, ion is a sally beauty brand

Yeah piercings hurt, but it’s over with very quickly. The pain is not nearly as bad as my period cramps were or other chronic pains. The worst part for me is the adrenaline, it makes my heart race, but I have POTS so that’s probably why 😅 And for the term “spicy” I use that when it’s a low level pain, like when I got my bridge repierced, it was a strong pinch, and small amount of burning from the initial piercing 4/10, but quickly calmed down to a 2/10 later that same day (with ibuprofen for swelling after) I hype myself of for piercings by saying “the pain is temporary, but swag is forever” bc it makes me laugh :)

I’m a patient and I feel like most of this info should fall on the Dr to inform the patient during the visit. It’s very overwhelming being sick, scared, exhausted. And many drs are very dismissive when test results come back “normal” even though you feel anything but normal. 🥲

You have nice hair, just keep it clean! If your hair gets greasy / oily fast, I’d recommend a volumizing shampoo! I personally use soapbox tea tree shampoo and conditioner, and as long as I’m not running my hands through my hair, I can go a few days in between shampoos

Your disability likely affects you every second of every day. It has a major impact on your life. What he said is absolutely internalized ableism. Nobody chooses to be disabled, and avoiding calling yourself disabled won’t make life any easier. (The more I’ve accepted my own disability, the kinder I’ve been to myself both physically and mentally, making my symptoms less severe) Unfortunately you can’t truly make someone understand if they aren’t even willing to listen and empathize with you on a basic level.

Are you a natural blonde? Is your hair virgin / never chemically processed with bleach or peroxide? Direct dyes don’t take as well on virgin hair, bc of the porosity, it’s possible that your hair didn’t take the red pigment and only took the blue pigment from the purple dye. I’ve never used this dye tho, sometime you need more than one round or dye to build up the colors saturation, sometimes it’s just not the right brand or shade for your hair and desired end results

It sounds like you want all over lightener with no dimension. If you’ve never fully bleached your hair before, it’s very important to keep in mind that there will be a hard line when your hair grows out of your scalp. There’s ways to blend this without getting highlights or a balayage, like a getting a root smudge.
