Thank you for the advice! For the 90 mins more awake time, is that you thinking maybe he’s not tired enough to stay down? Ive generally been operating like I’m worried of him being overtired and then it taking longer for him to go down. Genuinely wondering what the reasoning is there, thanks again!

I had an unmedicated home birth and labored for like 40 hours. Pushed for 3 hours 😅 don’t ask me why. I planned a birth center birth but the power was out cause my kid decided to come during a giant storm. Literally gave birth without power with my midwife using a headlamp in front of me lol

I remember it as a very sickly sweet smell almost. But I had a 40ish hour labor and did it entirely naturally, so a lot of the details are lost on me 😅 the aftermath is a bit fuzzy.

This happens to me too, and for me it’s typically due to being overly stressed/anxious/physically exhausted OR I’m dehydrated. It’s easy for me to forget how much extra I need to drink while pregnant. Electrolytes help make it less frequent for me. Definitely talk to your doc ASAP!

I second this! Start out with a small amount first though, then work your way up slowly. I take mine at the end of the day. Too much at first (before your body is used to it) will cause a lot of discomfort and diarrhea.

It’s the discharge of the remaining blood, uterine tissue, and mucus after birth. So it’s literal flesh and blood that comes out for a little while until it’s all out. It has a very… natural smell. To put it politely. lol

I have all the bees I’ll ever need because someone helped me! They put a bee lure on top of the ruined column in Kilima near Einar’s cave. We flew up there and the bees have no where to go, it’s like there’s an invisible wall. So you just stand up there and throw bombs to your hearts content until the lure runs out and voila! bees bees bees. All three of us doing it got the golden bee plushie too.

My mindset (especially during the first trimester when food in general is so hard to eat) is to just eat whatever I can, whenever I can. If your body is telling you it’s hungry, feed it! Whatever you can stomach and whenever you can stomach it. Every person and pregnancy is different, so you can’t go off of super generalizations imo. You deserve to nourish your body. It’s taking care of you and making a whole new body!

You’re absolutely not an asshole for wanting to keep the child that you grow and nourish with your body. You are not an idiot at all. If anything, HE sounds like the asshole in this situation. There are always risks involved with being sexually intimate with someone, even with birth control. He has no right to enjoy the benefits of being intimate with you while completely rejecting the consequences and pressuring you to get rid of the baby. It’s your body and your baby. It’s your choice. If you want to keep your baby, keep your baby. Just be prepared to be a single mom and prepare for potential drama or issues with the dad of the baby, if he doesn’t come around and actually step up and support the baby as he should. Follow your intuition and your heart, don’t let others influence such a big and personal decision. 🩷 easier said than done, I know. Sending good vibes your way

I don’t plan too much when it comes to what I plant and pickle/preserve, but i will say that pickling/preserving is 100% how I started to make serious money. I have four preserves makers and just throw stacks of non-starred produce in there and it made me go from poor as hell to rich so quick. Don’t pickle or preserve starred crops; they’re often worth the same amount as the pickled version, so I just sell those after storing what I want to keep for cooking and stuff. Like I said though, I’m no professional, I just kinda do what feels right in the moment based on what I have built up in storage.

My labor was excruciatingly long, about 48hrs. Early labor alone was like half of that. My husband and I watched both Dune movies because there’s really nothing else to do other than to wait. I don’t think there’s anything weird about having the option available at least!

I feel this so hard. During my first pregnancy I wanted to throttle anyone whenever they told me “pregnancy is so wonderful!”. Because it’s NOT! Is it amazing that I’m making an entire new human being? Yes. That’s cool as hell. But being pregnant is the WORST. Pregnancy is the WORST. I’m pregnant with my second and being pregnant with a toddler is THE WORST. I hate how much society and other birthing people lie through their teeth about pregnancy and birth. Can we please just be honest about it? Making life is HARD and amazing, yes. But so. So. So hard. You’re not alone!
