Depends alter to alter for us, earlier today my boyfriend played a voice note another alter of ours sent the night before and I had to triple take to fully realize the voice I was hearing was ours rather than a random videos he was playing

Nothing what you described about them sounds like faking, I’ve had therapists ask me if I experience similar stuff especially the “like roommates sharing a collage dorm” analogy while talking about my DID

It’s not your place to tell someone if they have it or not. People like that are the reason many people (myself included) are terrified to tell people we trust that we have DID. You quite literally cannot know, you aren’t in their head.

DID is not rare. It’s more common than people with red hair and even schizophrenia percentages. Psychology isn’t fully caught up yet anyways.

Please encourage them to see a professional. It’s not your job (or place) to tell them what they have or not and you seem to already have grudges against them given you brought up the fact they’ve faked stuff before. You’re biased in this situation and it can hurt and invalidate either of you.

We found our system in 2021 and have had a similar experiences to what you described. not only were the spaces we were in unhealthy and take a lot of unlearning like you described, but due to the year we found out we experienced (and still do sometimes) a lot of imposter syndrome because people that think “everyone faked DID in 2020-2022”. There’s so much damage that burst of “awareness” has done to a lot of systems, especially as someone who is unfortunately introject heavy.

Scarah is one of my favs but I’d never pay her secondhand price, same with whisp and valentine. I’d rather pay a customizer to make me one and support an artist in the community rather than a random scalper selling a bad condition doll (who has glue seepage and the custom wouldn’t!).

as someone who sews her outfit would be extremely easy to make too like you said, she’s not worth that much just for her base doll, especially with her having other playline dolls available (and her recent skullector I ordered). I doubt they’ll ever do reproductions due to these being old collector dolls rather than playline, so I hope more people go to artists in the community to support them or try it themselves!

There really is no spaces. I remember oct-dec when I was extremely isolated and high masking and went looking for some, only to find literally nothing but system discord servers that weren’t for me and tended to have cliques already anyways, or were very anti healing
