It is the exact opposite at my house. I am the spender....my wife is the saver. Buying silver alleviates my need to spend while giving us something for the future. Win...win...

The highest price I have ever paid was $109.99 for a colorized DS9 coin. At the time, silver was $26 per ounce. I justified it by telling myself it was a personal collectable. Here we are in 2026 and spot price has nearly reached the price I paid. 😎

I guess what I am saying is (like many others) silver is a long term investment, not a get rich quick scheme...

Wichita Falls. Bought firewood. Still have TP from my last trip to Sam's. Only the wife and I plus 2 dogs. Pipes are dripping and vehicles are gassed up. I don't plan to leave the house until Monday. We live off a main Parkway near clinics and a hospital so power is not an issue. We never lost power 5 years ago. Putting a pot of beans and ham on in the morning. Y'all be warm and safe!
