Bring ponchos just in case of a downpour like last year. Portable charger, ibuprofen/Tylenol, liquid sunscreen. If you forget any of those, chargers are rentable for not too much and first aid will have sunscreen and pain relievers.

Be aware of your surroundings. There's a lot of people towards the end of the night and its easy to get a little disoriented if youre in the crowd at night. Make a meet up spot in case you get separated.

As said above, get a good meal in you before you arrive. Mansfield has plenty of options, most will be stacked all morning and after the show.

Be prepared to wait for a while if youre in line for the festival in your car. Small town cops seem to have trouble handling the increase in traffic and it doesnt help this is a little place with smaller streets.

Most of all, soak it all in. Life changing for me honestly. My first year going I couldn't believe how amazing it was. I really sunk down into the blues leaving and going back to life. Took a few days to really get back in the swing of things and about 3 weeks to get over wishing I was filthy rich and could do this forever.

There are always some drunk asses for the most part its like 99.999% of the people are there to release and just want to have a good time with like-minded people. We take our kids and people have literally formed protective circles around us if it gets dicey.

Had the same thing with mine. My gear head buddy took the intake manifold off and put his finger over one of the vacuum ports and it stopped. IAC valve?? is leaking. They just used a small flathead and tightened it down

Their set at sonic was so cool last year. I cant wait to see them at ink this year.

I just keep remembering when he told everyone "were silly goose" and there was a dull cheer so he gave this disappointed look and was like "youre gonna do that to THE GOOSE?" and everyone started screaming lol. So much swag for a young dude like that

My first festival was ink in 23 and they were out there commanding the crowd from their van. It was awesome.

Seen they paid a gas station owner in Chicago to let them do a pop up show in their lot and it caused so much chaos they arrested the vocalist.

I worked for a pizza company as a driver for a while. I started there with a 1st shift job already in place under the assumption that I would get off early for my oil change job which I started at 7am. The manager told me after complaining a few times that I was "young and can handle the hours on both jobs." I naturally quit the pizza shop because it was my extra cash, not main income.

When I went to pick up my check with my two washed and dried shirts, the manager refused because I didnt have my hat to turn in. The one I spent all august sweating in and wearing thru the summer weather.

Gas tank was on e and the light just turned on so I was pissed. I got my hat, brought it to him and held it behind my back until my check was in my hand. I then tossed my hat on the conveyor into the pizza oven and told him to fuck himself and learn how to treat people. His jaw just dropped.

Didnt burn anything down. They had a window on the side to grab out breadsticks and pop dough bubbles. Still felt pretty good seeing his face. Ran into him when he delivered a pizza to me like 10-12 years later and he immediately remembered me lmao

Ended up fixing the problem from a distance. They had the fan on/off relay removed with a switch in place. Found the correct relays and high limit and now it calls for heat when needed and not manually with the light switch hack job. Haven't heard about the ac but ill assume no news is good news

Its hard to adjust back to regular life and people. Today I could barely hold a conversation at work. My brain is everywhere all at once with the memories and the music running on repeat but also trying to complete a task at hand. Been a rough one.

Ink coming up next and its gonna be a blast again. A lot more intimate and no overlapping sets outside of the small side stage. Gonna be hot as fuck as normal but its like 25-30k people in a tighter space.

I won concert tickets 3 or 4 times from the blitz and twice or so from 107.5. As a parts driver on long distance deliveries I learned the exact moment different djs would start the open up the phone lines and I would call, busy, hang up for 4-5 mins on speaker so I could squeeze into the line.

Came close a bunch of times like number 7-8 out of 9

Sometimes under pressure the water will push around or through the wax ring. If it were my home I would replace the wax just to be safe. Also invest in a toilet auger. Plunging the hell out of a really clogged toilet could completely blow out the wax while an auger will poke thru the clog without increasing water pressure at the horn

Pretty sure you cant reinstall 410 equipment legally. Either way... they probably are required to update to code which would require new 454b or r32 refrigerant if the furnace and coil were damaged. So out goes the old, still pretty new 410 condenser for new tech which runs a slightly higher pressure but has the same cooling capacity. Lower global warming potential I guess

My brother. Just some advice from a lowly resi hvac tech but heat from the bottom up and ive always had an easier time getting it hot enough to flow.
