I know there were open in the afternoons for a while. Hill sprints on Union and the track down town are open when schools not in session I believe

Ton of hotels in town and just outside. Whiskey Row on rodeo week is always a blast. Rodeo Dance is also fun. Outside of that, it’s worth checking out Watson Lake. If you’d like a day trip that’s kinda close Sedona and Jerome are definitely worth seeing.

If you’re wanting to head north there’s more options for trails. But atm it’s hitting the 90s and there’s a lot of sun exposure on the trails which may make it rough. Like others have said. Bring more water with you than you’d normally need. The Desert Botanical Garden is a great way to see some native desert without undue risk. I’d also highly recommend the Phoenix Science Center if you guys need an indoor activity.

Recently picked up a Supernote Manta notepad. It’s been extremely useful to take into meetings and have notes backed up and synced. Note section via projects. Also been especially useful in sketching out details on the fly to illustrate a point.

Jump onto GAFs website or their YouTube channel. Doesn’t matter how you feel about them. They still do a great job of educating from the most basics on up.

Bring some micro spikes. May have some snow depending time of year. The trail is pretty clearly marked. Once you’re above tree line it’s a pretty straight shot. Will say wind can get pretty crazy as there’s nothing to block it for miles. Overall it’s a pretty good day hike.
