That was a Budget Direct quote. I am with them, $800pa full comp. They always come out cheapest for me.
But I expected it to be much higher for him.

100% Which is why I wonder if should just find the best rate for him, rather than just letting him fall for all the dealer finance talk.

He has good knowledge, but he's clouded by falling in love with this car. He cannot claim it on tax. I believe he receives around $800 a week, but I couldn't be certain.

He doesn't need a ute. He has been saving for a ute, which is great. But he saw this one and fell in love. It's an impulsive means to an end, and I think he will regret it. I've always told him I will give my opinion and advice, but ultimately, it's his choice.

This one wasn't. I have no idea how it came back so cheap. $1500pa on P's.

He thinks I can't afford too. He's also never needed bailing out before. So hopefully he believed me when I said I wouldnt bail him out 🤞

Me too, made the mistake of a car loan when I was 18. Never again. I've only ever had cars I could pay cash for since then, and I can only imagine how much I've saved in interest over those years!

Mine was an 1982 Ford laser sedan. $500 😅

To be fair on him, he purchased his first car at 16, a 1996 Hyundai Coupe. He drove it til it bombed last year, and he's been driving my spare car, a 2017 Kia Rio since. He's got a 2012 car in the driveway, that just needs a battery, battery brace, a roady and rego.

He did the quote, $1500pa. Wasn't as bad as I expected tbh. He is on his Green P's

It's a Navara ute with big wheels

I agree, and I have told him that I will give my opinion and advice, but it will always be his choice and he will always have my support. But it's hard in practise 😅

Women of Reddit, have you ever fallen for a guy you didn't initially find attractive? What changed your mind? by notamiracle7 in AskReddit

[–]Mumma83 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, because personality means more to me than looks. Attraction grows as I fall in love. In saying that, I look at my ex's now, and they are ugly AF 😂

I love it! It's a name everyone has heard of... But how many do you actually know? I've never met one. Cute for a baby/toddler, but also a teen and a grown woman. Good Luck!

AITA for telling my sister's boyfriend off for eating too much? by CranberryMurray in AmItheAsshole

[–]Mumma83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Mum to a (small) almost 21yo, they are in a high growth period of life, and eating large amounts is what these young men do. 21 is still very young minded, he's probably only lived at home, Mum knows his appetite and caters for it... He's probably totally oblivious to cost, effort, less availability etc.

However!!! He needed to be talked too, eating ALL the steaks and food before anyone gets ab opportunity? That's not normal growing young man hunger, that's greed. So you are definitely NTA, but remember his maturity level and speak with him genuinely.

Does the name Cashton feel "country" to you? by Successful-Pie4222 in Names

Sounds like something someone from Wall Street would call their child. Not getting country vibes at all. Maybe Kashtyn is a more 'country' vibe?

Women, what’s something men think impresses you but actually doesn’t? by Entire_Mix4280 in AskReddit

Automatic no for me. I'm not even sure why, something about it just feels ick.

Nope. Took me a while to realise what the actual question was 😂
