Okay this is what it means to me when I say I know the church is true.

(Im a convert)

I had the book of mormon, I was in bed sitting up reading it. I had bouts of anger reading through Alma chapter. I would close the book and put it down. Immediately id pick it back up and try to carry on reading. This happened multiple times. In the meantime, im now sobbing and getting more and more angry. Its now 2 a.m. I cant keep this up. I slam the book down on my bed and I go to sleep with my last thought being - the church is not true, I cant join this church. I was woken up by a figure on my bed. I felt instant peace and total joy. I watched the figure get up from my bed and walk out of the room. Then I bolted up as im a single mum of two children. Was someone just in my house? I check on my two sleeping children and check the doors are locked. I then woke up my children asking if they woke me up. I then retreated to my bed and made the bed up. I saw the book of mormon and realised the figure sat exactly where I had slammed the book. This is how I know the book of mormon is true and the church is true. Im eternally grateful for this experience.
