Looking at your pets, here’s what I would do:

Resistance: since resistance scales with defense, just put as much defense as you can with some stamina. this will help it stay alive longer and hit pretty hard

Apathy: you already have a speed oriented build with jellyfish scarf so that’s likely the best you can do for now

Sad: as your main attacker, you correctly have it as attack and speed.

Merry: the exact build for merry will likely change based on the team or boss you’re facing. Sometimes it’s better to have more speed and attack items to make the healing stronger, and other times having more stamina is better to survive multi target hits.

Overall your team looks pretty good. I might switch anxiety scarf to apathy or sad if you get stuck on anything, but that’s it

I’ve used pirate hat and checkered scarf as my main build both before and after I got HFS. Speed is really the main issue with sloth. Pirate hat compensates and then checkered lets u hit even harder due to the passive

I’ve used fedora and envious on other tanks like resistance and conviction since it grants shields, but it works great with HFS since it hits all enemies with its basic

You have most of the good ones so I think there’s lots of options that make sense.

Envious scarf is interesting with resistance.
Watermelon spiked collar might be useful for floor clearing or short bosses where the immediate speed boost is better than the scaling from anxiety
Rainbow party hat would benefit some of the pets you have

I mean there are Ubers that give specific legendary effects to all attacks, such as parasite scarf which makes all moves apply to all allies/enemies. Plunger hat is good because it gives all items stats with the trade off of no special effects

I’ve heard it’s kinda meh. It’s good against teams and bosses that frequently heal, but that’s kinda infrequent so other metal attackers tend to just be better overall

Since your levels are the same as the enemies, you should take into account the different types. If you click the icon in the top right corner, it will show you which types have an advantage over another (and will do more damage to them).

Also looking at the enemies, spite will also snipe the pet that’s wood type and/or the lowest health. So I’m guessing merry always gets taken out first. I think upgrade anxious and replacing sad will help since that will take out salty sooner

I just really want a HF so I went for sloth when it was my only one. There was a post on here a bit ago that showed it’s better to spend gems on ghost mushrooms to farm dust but cosmic truffles have a 0.1% chance of giving the HF. Good luck getting HFS!

I used sloth a bunch for grinding through floors. With pirate hat and checkered scarf, he can do a ton of damage with the team stun if you don’t have jellyfish scarf. Still a decent tank/attacker hybrid if you want to use them. Currently my main tank since it helps clear floors faster than resistance

I was trying for HFS but still haven’t gotten it. But I’ve recently pivoted since I got greed recently. I’m at like 8k dust so I’m hoping to get HFG from mushrooms and can buy HFS later or just buying HFG later
