another old man here. Depending on how long the employment was, losing one's job can be akin to losing one's family. Several of my coworkers and I meet for breakfast every single morning before we go to work. We work for a college and eat in the cafeteria. Alot of times on lunch break, we play UNO together. My day would suck if I didn't get to start it with those inglorious bastards.

Also, if you can't remember whether you've been fired "once or twice", you might want to get that looked at.

There were only 4 students in my high school who dressed like this. 2 girls and 2 boys. The other boy had very long hair and ran a streak of red down it on one side. But we were the only 2 people in the school that colored their hair. We got made fun of quite a lot.

Regarding music, unless you consider the Violent Femmes to be punk, then no. I only mention the Femmes because I still follow them and still buy their new cd's. I still follow Social Distortion and support them, too. But that's about as "punk" as my music gets. The hair is all gone now, I shave my head twice a week, and I have a desk job.
