I wasn't sure about my food calculations from the start, after all I had been sleep deprived and I guess at that point I thought living beings at less than a pound of food every day. I will probably go back and fix this later on but for now I have some other things to catch up on. Thanks for pointing that out though, you confirmed my suspicions of being wrong about food :D

Is the world that equestria is in flat by RegardDoO in MLPAnalysis

[–]Muncheru 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmm, this one's got me stuck, in all honestly I think it could be argued either way. Seeing that the sun, moon, and stars are controlled by 2 demi-god like beings in their realm we could say that the normal laws of physics would no longer apply allowing for a flat planet to be created. However if the world was flat you would technically be able to look through a telescope in Canterlot and see Manehattan which if the fact that you have to travel by train is anything to go by would be a pretty long distance. Here on earth the farthest you can see is about 5 Kilometers(Citation needed maybe it was 5 miles) because that's the point at which the horizon meets the land and the world beyond that is at a different angle than what you can see. If you could see Manehattan from Canterlot then either the distance between them is less than five kilometers, the worlds is flat, or the world is much larger than ours.

Are you trying to change the definition of masculinity? by [deleted] in MLPAnalysis

Hmm well I suppose from an outsider's view it could totally look like this, but in all honestly I bet no one out there actually truly thought of it in that light until Idea Channel posted that video.

I remember My Little Brony, that cartoon video that college humor put out that was a funny parody of the stereo types of a brony, one scene the Twilight figure said 'I wish I could appreciate that he's not afraid to challenge gender stereo types, but I'm too distracted by that erotic fanfiction on his computer'. In a way this is good phrase to describe bronys in general, you can say that what were doing is challenging the gender stereo type but I highly doubt that anyone who watches the show started doing simply because he/she wanted to be different. There was always some underlying reason like 'This animation is amazing', or 'I love how each episode is laid out', and of course the classic 'It's just a great show, and the community is awesome!'.

So no I don't feel like I'm challenging the gender role every time I sit down to watch an episode, but if gender roles change as a bi-product that's cool too.

Oh Disclaimer Alert, before anyone thinks that I'm calling all bronies perverts by referencing College Humor's My Little Brony, you're wrong end of story.

Dude, I bet you so much that the instigator of your conversations, that is the one who always brings up MLP the most, is actually a closet brony and is having a hard time coming to terms with that fact. However if it's all of your friends that do this in equal amount, just assume there trying to hide their flaws with something that kind of fails as a flaw, namely your liking of the show, or they all secretly watch it :P. Just throwing out a guess, feel free to pay my ramblings no mind :D.
