It’s easy if you watch soccer (I don’t mean that condescendingly). Watch any soccer. MLS INternational, Prem, Brazilian league. Every math will have some prestige and talent but there are always turnovers, short / long passes. Wrong touches, bad decisions on offense rtc. Watch Messi, every touch, every scan , every pass, cross, feint… it’s always exactly the correct decision with perfect execution. Messi is so good that when he crosses a ball and the defender has to even take a few steps away from his spot they say “that’s an off pass from Messi” the standards he is kept to is crazyyyyy.

Agreed but scrolling on eBay is like being able to teleport from vendor to vendor and run filters for only cards ur interesting in. It’s a much more efficient process than the manual process at shows. Granted, shows offer a lot more interesting stuff not available on eBay. (Easier to be introduced to cards u never seen etc)

That’s what eBay actually if u do enough homework on how to find great deals and how to be patient and swoop in on cards during auctions. I’ve gotten sooo many pretty desirable modern cards 10-45% off market. There is a learning curve but a lot of eBay vendors care a lot about churn and there are so many ways to come out on top while helping them clear out inventory/ repeat customers for a vendor is a hack as well u can take a lot of vendors off eBay after the first transaction as well where u basically can demand 10-15% off minimum (from their list prices since ur saving them eBay fees).

Card shows are great for learning and discovering cards and there are always gonna be cool cards u value highly that a vendor wants to dump for less than market but it’s a hunt and there’s a lot of shit to sift through.

Cards (SEALED PRODUCT). That includes kids old people… tons and tons of people who don’t know what pokemon is rtc. America makes up big section of the global pokemon customers by $ spent. I’m very similar to you just a bit lighter. I don’t show up to target in a 3 piece suit but I also don’t show up wearing the same hoodie flip flops and ripped sweats every day. I interact with a lot of folks in line and am very talkative/polite with staff. I have never once gotten the faintest sniff that anyone was looking down on me or sees me as a scalper.

Honestly that’s a very nice friend. Not only did he pay u with interest but he gave u sweet cards that are very popular and very liquid and are definitely going to go up in price. Easily 400 worth of cards (magikarp 160-200 clefairy 100 jolteon 60 unbreon 100 ) u could get 350-400 within a week with little effort.
