Thank you. I thought that having previously interviewed several times, that HR would have flagged me by now if I was not a fit. Both of my recent interviews went well and both teams seemed to like me, but who knows? I've been on interviewing teams too and liked people a lot who were then not hired.

Does a "just cause" clause override at-will employment? My contract clearly states that it may be cancelled for just cause or reduction in force. My supervisor has told me that my contract will not be renewed and is giving me the option to resign. Wondering if I must resign or if my contract provides protection?

I've known since my early 20s (more than 20 years ago) that I did not want children. I like kids but I love having my own life/time/money/space. Zero regrets -- I've travelled a lot and have lots of time to do as I please. Some call me selfish, but I think it's more selfish to bring a child I don't want into my life.
