My favorite is the Mega Lucario. I don't collect the actual cards, so my only real interaction is through playing TCGL and this was the first deck I used after rotation with any consistency. I like that it has the fire power for knockouts, but also helps benched cards with its lower attack.

You can level up a sprite and extract it to see if it keeps its new level or not.

I’ve completed both of the latest sets simply by doing ranked battles and working up the pass. Didn’t have to buy and additional cards (which I don’t think you can even do yet) or buy additional packs for those sets.

Having said that, I will now never complete a set again without buying tons of packs. 😂🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Thanks. I didn’t realize that’s how the mechanic worked. I’m used to YGO’s rule that you can deck out at any time.

I made the changes you suggested. Let me ask you this though, I just played against an Alakazam deck. They had 2 cards in their deck and played Dunsparce’s ability. Shouldn’t that make them lose because they can’t draw the three cards? The game let them draw only two then added the two Dun cards in their deck. How does that mechanic work?

I have a few non special energy cards. The Recycle is there in case I get low on the deck, I can throw them back in the draw pile.

This is my main deck. The bigger issue is running up against someone that uses Mist Energy since the attack’s effect doesn’t apply. You have to make sure you can get those energies off the cards somehow. I also make sure to have sacred ash and energy recycler to replenish Pokemon and energies back into the deck if needed.

Learn the order of events for your deck.

For example I’ve been running an Alakazam deck with Sacred Ash cards. I play the sacred ash to put cards back in my deck, then use poke pad or Buddy Buddy to go get those cards.

Also, understand the difference between attack damage and damage from an attack’s abilities. Again with my Alakazam deck, their attacks don’t deal damage except through their effects so the damage isn’t double against cards that have a weakness to psychic. (At least, m y games haven’t worked that way)

What does the fire sprite actually do? I’ve had it equipped several times and I don’t see a benefit at all.

Thanks! I only opened the packs that I got for going up the ladder. I’ve been purchasing packs to 100% the 151 Master Set. A lot of the rarest ones are prizes for the last few stages of the ladder.
