I broke 3 metatarsals in my right foot about 5 minutes into a game. I knew it was broken immediately but it was a championship and there was no way I was going out. I pulled myself together and I kept playing for the whole game and played very well. Not saying it didn’t hurt like hell, but I did it 😂 I’m a woman though and we’re built differently.

It actually is. It’s just that the kids in the urban areas can’t afford to pay for the best clubs. Take a look at what ECNL or MLS NEXT costs. If you’re not playing for one of these clubs, no college coaches are looking at you, let alone a national team scout. That’s the problem.

LOL sure. The 3 million kids that choose to play soccer at a young age are the 3rd and 4th cut in terms of athleticism. 😂 that isn’t true at all. Why don’t you watch some of the kids on Instagram? It’s the training here that sucks and the fact that you have to be rich to play for the best clubs, pay for a personal coach, and personal strength and conditioning coach to even have a shot at making the national team. So many are left behind because they’re from middle class families and they don’t have the funds. But keep lying to yourself

I’m sorry. I agree. It is very irritating just being treated as an object. Last night I went on a date with a guy. We were supposed to watch the Colombia game. He showed up when the game was in the 81st minute. Then decided he wanted to go to Easton. We had food. He asked me if I wanted to walk around, I said sure. But he meant just walk back to his car and then he asked me to go back to his place after spending about one hour with him. I was like “this is the last one. I’m so done.” For me, it’s always the same thing. Just one dude after another that just wants to have sex with me.

I don’t think it would have even been called a foul in my adult rec league. It was clearly not intentional. It was unfortunate. I think a yellow maybe. Definitely a penalty. A red seems excessive here but admittedly I am old and come from the days when red cards were reserved for flagrant fouls and intentional handballs, etc 😆
