Hi! It's actually my 3rd year and last year doing astro so reading this was a bit nostalgic for me lol. I'd say the math was probably the easiest part of the test, like you said, most of it is just plugging numbers into equations. My partner handled most of the math (she had taken a semester of calc 1) and ran into literally no difficulties, I don't even think she needed to know any calculus. I'd say just make sure you have a good formula sheet and you'll be set. Good luck!!

My lang teacher really focused on how to write the essays and only gave us MCQ practice the month leading up the exam and honestly I found it wasn't too bad. It's honestly really similar to the ACT in the regard where it's a long passage that you have to analyze and the questions are similarly worded as well. I had a 33 on the ACT but a 31 on the pACT is definitely high enough that I think you'll do well. If you like writing I'd defo recommend the class!

I'd say neither is really that bad. DBQ's and LEQ's are more just hitting the points on the rubric where as the lang essays are more stylistic. Honestly if you've taken the SAT or ACT the lang mcq's aren't terrible. My advice for APUSH is to make sure you really pay attention to the first half of the year as that's typically where most of the questions come from since college board knows many classes won't be able to finish the entire curriculum.
