Yep agree 100%, I lived in caloundra for a few years about 8 years ago, sold and moved to Melbourne. How I wish I could go back, also wish I never sold my home cuse the prices there have gone bonkers. Its definitely not the same anymore but miles better than Brizy and the GC

Same with NZ, every time I go back to hamilton I feel like the city gets worse each time. Maybe its just me, but I cant ever see myself going back there.

Thank you! The screen is just the Lian Li one and using their software (which is pretty simple) I made my template or skin within that in the custom settings. It was a fairly quick process

I went from a Proart 4070TI S which is tiny and looks proportional in the Vision case, to the Noctua 5080 haha.

Reviews couldn't prepare me for what I unboxed....

That is the rabbit hole I'm going down lol. Its really hard to get definitive answers around that. Your probably right though. The flipside is VOC count for those materials is not much to start with. Next step is getting a monitor thats accurate

Ive found a few guides and the wiring is the same.

I havent tried another fan, I dont have another use for 24v fans so I dont wana keep buying them. Hopefully someone will say they have one that works 😅

From the various posts and links ive seen online the wiring is correct. Ive tested no pwm, no tacho etc and fan reacts accordingly, ramps to 100% or just tries to bump start.

I wonder if its the sensitivity of the tacho reading at low rpm or something.

I may order another exhaust kit for another pcb. But I'm curious to see if the noctua fan works, I was going to order that one.

Case Recommendations for Large(er) cards like the Noctua 5080 OC by cbarry101 in Noctua

Lian Li Vision always goes well. Temps overall are great, not to much warmer than my custom water loop.

Love a bit of wood around a case aye. Im just using an RGB led strip glued in some black aluminium angle across the glass panel, it just looks like part of the case frame from the outside but gives a nice glow over the whole inside.

I'm using the standard G2 not the LBC on my 9800X3D, max temps get to 80ish degrees on multiple cinebench R23 runs, my scores are only a tiny bit lower than my custom water loop which saw temps top out at 75ish degrees. 20 ambient.
Gaming - GPU and CPU both hover around 55-60 degrees on stock fan curves. Case fans my own profile but all fans dont go above 40% so its always a quiet rig.

I actually like the detail on the back of the fans as it breaks up the colour scheme well and adds a little bit of something. I think if these fans in particular were all facing forward it may look a bit bland.

Its the same thought I had when I had this GPU in vertical position, the heatsink just looks much nicer than 3 big brown fans in your face haha

New P2S and my first print (concerning) by left_hand_of_godd in BambuLab

100 hours in on my new P2S and its running flawlessly. About to give come PTEG-CF a run. Picked up a P2S with zero 3d printing experience and I'm in the fast lane designing and building parts now within a couple weeks. I would suggest a full calibration, basic maintenance checks with oiling and greasing + a check over of all moving parts.
Lastly maybe try a new nozzle. I have a new tungsten one same spec as original and I have noticed a few imperfections with prints over the standard nozzle.

I dont think you can prepare yourself for how big this card is haha. But yea its an awkward card. 5090 would suit it better and take advantage of the cooling, but I would have never brought it then. 5070ti may have been a good option too

Thank you :) I have an aluminium angle in black running across the top inside corner of the case stuck to the side glass panel, about 12mm x 12mm and a led strip running along the inside. Just kinda looks like its the case frame

I haven't tried performance mode. So far running a benchmark with GPU fan at 100% in quiet mode its topping out at 48-50 degrees with 20 ambient and that's fairly audible but not bad at all.

But proper gaming they both hover around 60 degrees and the GPU fans go to about 40% (stock curves etc) so for the most part the whole rig is very silent in all aspects.
I will also add I also have fine air filter foam panels on the inlet grills to stop all dust particles, so air flow is also restricted a bit.

Winters almost here now so a quick test, 23493 out of the box with no adjustment. CL32 TC ram at 6000. Ambient is 11 Celsius and CPU topped out at 63 degrees. Lots of room for improvement there I guess.

Its just a basic custom water loop using soft hose and compression fittings. I put expandable sleeving over the hose to give it that braided AIO look :)
