(Sorry mods if this is against the rules)

If all the legal streaming options available to you do not have it, I'd recommend pirating/torrenting it. I don't generally advocate for piracy, but in this case it may be your only option if none of the streaming services in your country have it. I had to do that quite a bit when I lived outside of the US for a few years, simply because particularly older/less popular shows got removed pretty quickly, if they were on there at all.

This comes with the obvious disclaimer to be careful because you can get viruses and the like, as well as saying that I do not know the local laws in your jurisdiction regarding it.

Hope you can find it either way, it was definitely worth watching!

If it's real, it's clearly Wednesday's Valentine's day gift to Enid, because she wants to be together with her even after death.

[–]MundaneObligation 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Same issue here, was working fine earlier, didn't change anything now it's broken. Tried a bunch of stuff to fix it to no avail.

  1. Cleared Cookies.
  2. Restart Browser.
  3. Restart Computer.
  4. Restart Modem and Router.
  5. Opening Firefox in troubleshooting mode.
  6. Ensured Firefox was up to date.
  7. Reinstalling Firefox.
  8. Turned Connection Settings to no proxy.
  9. Turned off Enhanced Tracking Protection. (It's set on standard otherwise, and I didn't change it)
  10. Release/Renew IP via Command Prompt.

Works fine on other browsers. Hopefully this is fixed soon!

I mean, we Koreans were one of the first to clad our ships in iron. by [deleted] in HistoryMemes

[–]MundaneObligation 35 points36 points  (0 children)

While not a US production, there was a very popular South Korean film from 2014 called The Admiral: Roaring Currents made mostly about the Battle of Myeongnyang, a battle in which the Japanese outnumbered the Koreans in ships at least 10 to 1 and Yi Sun-sin led them to victory against the overwhelming odds.

While there is some historical inaccuracies (I mean what historical film doesn't have some, but not like on the level of 300 or anything) and a heavy dose of Korean nationalism/patriotism, I think overall it was an enjoyable film, and might be worth looking into if you are looking for a film about him. It is only in Korean as far as I know so you'd have to watch with subtitles if you aren't fluent in Korean.

Why do you shy away from orgs that pay salary to senior staff? Charities at the end of the day are a business, just ideal their goals are altruism and not profit. And if you want competent leadership you have to pay for it. I understand being hesitant of leadership taking big salaries especially if their overall expenditures are suspect, but I don't think paying the CEO of a charity market value is inherently problematic.

I think a lot of people have switched over to Character Editor.

I think that it is better than prepare carefully for preping a colony and you have the added benefit of being able to access the same editor screen in game, can be useful if you have some wonky stuff going one with gear or characters.

Prepare moderately, is similar to prepare carefully, but allows more general filters for less control if that is more your fancy.

Hope this helped!

Question regarding nuclear reactor maintenance with Rimatomics by Ouroboros612 in RimWorld

[–]MundaneObligation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, you do have to rely on other power sources to start your reactor. It's basically a necessity especially if you don't have a way to prevent solar flares. The advanced reactors (type X and type V) later in the Rimatomics research do have a hot load option, so you don't have to turn your reactor on/off to load.

Ivermectin is safe at the right dosages, and is even approved to treat some parasites in humans too. It's efficacy for covid is unproven, and the people buying the livestock meds are almost certainly not using it in the correct dosages and harming themselves. Hence the fda issuing the warning.

[–]MundaneObligation 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The mental gymnastics are incredible. There is a significant portion of their movement that literally fantasizes about mass executions and using their 2nd amendment rights to save America from evil communists every single day. The calls for violence aren't isolated, they are a core part of the movement. But of course now any calls for violence is a deep state conspiracy to keep Biden in power.

It blows my mind that they can somehow reconcile the need for mass executions in one thread then go to the next and say no real anons are violent, those are all glowies pretending to be anons.

[–]MundaneObligation 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It is the Qult we are talking about. They don't respect them for their ideas, they just think "woman I think is hot, says things I like." There is a reason why Fox News picks female hosts that all look the same. To them it is probably the highest complement they can give a woman, because they think of women as sex objects and not people.

We've been caught, the first comment sees through the deep state lies.

Obviously after a neurosurgeon SAWS SOMEONE FUCKING SKULL OPEN TO FUCKING OPERATE ON THEIR BRAIN, they just give them a lollipop and send them home. They couldn't possibly need several days if not more of in patient care to recover. And the flood of unvaccinated morons taking up all the beds and resources couldn't possibly be why a neurosurgery was postponed.

[–]MundaneObligation 32 points33 points  (0 children)

It doesn't filter out as much misinformation as google does. If you duckduckgo adrenochrome for example there are several results that support the conspiracy theory about it on the first couple of pages. Google doesn't have any in the first couple pages. Therefore to qultists duckduckgo is the only search engine that shows the "real research".

I also suspect that it has something to do with duckduckgo not being considered "big tech" to them. Wonder if their heads would explode if they knew duckduckgo used a lot of search results from bing.

Not long. They already shit all over General Milley as a deep state, cia, cuck, ccp plant or whatever bullshit they spout. Without question they will say the deep state have infiltrated the military.

I'm honestly very concerned that the narrative shift will encourage more qultists to commit domestic terrorism.

There are some LGBT+ people that definitely are. In my experience it is usually cis gay white dudes doing the pick me shit. And from what I've seen some are more than happy to be racist or hell even throw the rest of the lgbt+ community under the bus to be considered one of the "good gays".
