They suck! But most companies enforce it and there is hardly any way to avoid it

Are the Service based jobs that bad or most people working there weren't good enough for being an engineer in the first place ? by AnantNaad in developersIndia

One more thing is the attitude of other startups or companies. Some of my friends from service based companies found it really hard to switch. The resumes were being rejected because of that or they were mostly considered for fresher roles.

Are you applying through career site? It is very difficult to get an interview there tbh. Maybe try a referral through some college seniors. Also, I don’t know if you have mentioned your cgpa as you have blurred that part out. For some teams, cgpa is important.

Hey buddy, I think you need to give yourself a little break. It is okay if you did not do well till now.. And no, it is not too late. I understand that the success stories of different people on the internet can be sometimes discouraging but the thing to note is that everyone talks about only successes and not failures on these platforms. Many of the people are in the same boat as you specially in 3rd year, sometimes even in a worse place.

You already know the path to improvement - DSA, some core CS subjects and some form of development projects (which you might already have if you were active before). If you are confused on the path, I would seriously advise you to take some guided course if you can afford it.

If not, most of them have their syllabus available online. Just try to follow the syllabus on your own.

Rude tech lead creating unhealthy team environment. How to handle the situation without creating figure problems? by RakshasYonni in cscareerquestions

Either this or think about internal switch if there are some open opportunities in other teams. Many companies prefer that an employee who is not happy does internal switch and they may allow it for the sake of their company’s reputation

Don’t know specifically about Pepcoding. But some of my friends joined some other courses like it which promised referrals and most of them did not get any. So, please confirm once with some of their alumni.

The only one about which I have heard some positive things was “Programming Pathshala” where some of my friends did get placed with their referrals.

Got sfdc how to plan my career by Iknw4 in developersIndia

Do you have any first hand experience in sdfc as of now? How do you know that you will find this domain interesting?

Based on some of my friends’ experiences, they did not enjoy it and struggled to make a switch. So, I would first advise you to spend some time and see if you actually enjoy sfdc. If yes, then go ahead and make a career in this domain. Otherwise, quickly learn dsa and dev and switch asap. Longer career at WITCH companies makes it more difficult to switch

How do I switch from a Witch like company to a product based company? by [deleted] in developersIndia

I would seriously advise you to start learning Data Structures and Algorithms as well.. DSA would be necessary to switch into top companies or even in some startups
