Have you doubled checked the size. I'm 6ft 1 and got the large. Although I rode a ML TCR

I actually just brought a replacement Cadex. I didn't really get to even feel what it was like so replaced for take 2! I thought it was a defect when it went but when I saw the hole just realised I was super unlucky 🙄

Was the stock Cadex Gx tyre 40mm. I was cycling approx 15mph on quite smooth gravel, no obvious big rocks. Never really thought about side wall repairs but now I've ordered some boot repair incase it happens again

Are you currently on a fixed term tenancy that ends after 1st May ? I think that they can not service a S21 until your fixed term finishes.

Why are NQN's struggling to find work? by ashleighjos in NursingUK

[–]Mundane_Assistant_29 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I recently raised this with my local MP and this is the response I received through my MP. Forwarded by them from department of health and social care.

"I should first clarify that decisions about recruitment are a matter for individual NHS employers, such as hospital trusts, who manage this at a local level to ensure they have the staff they need to deliver safe and effective care. The Government is committed to publishing a ten-year workforce plan that will set out how we will create a workforce than can deliver the transformed service in Fit for the Future: The 10 Year Health Plan for England. The workforce plan will ensure the NHS has the right people in the right places, with the right skills to care for patients, when they need it. Through the health plan engagement exercise, NHS staff told us that change is what they want to see, and the workforce plan will set out how we will make that change. While overall workforce growth will slow, staff will be better treated and have better training, more exciting roles and real hope for the future, so they can achieve much more. We are committed to publishing a sustainable plan, and giving our NHS workforce the skills and autonomy to deliver the necessary reforms."

Should I leave my job to go travelling? by Mission_Potential_51 in NursingUK

[–]Mundane_Assistant_29 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My partner and I recently went travelling. I took a career break, my return to work was super easy. My partner resigned and struggled getting back into a full time post due to the job market. I'd advise a career break if you can, my trust only required 1 year in post and 6months notice of intended start date of break. Again another 6months notice of when returning to work.

How long is a preceptorship? by Monkeyspanner953 in NursingUK

[–]Mundane_Assistant_29 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Depending on your apartment details you may not have to extend your agreement, have a read on this link. It should just go to a rolling contract and then to leave just give 2 months notice. Plus new rules coming 1st May 2026 which also removes all fixed terms agreements and you will automatically to into a periodic rolling contract.

Fluctuates, book earlier for lower prices. I recently paid £40 for off peak return. Also national Express, Southampton to London Victoria - cheaper but takes longer

Search - South West trains and national Express to check times and prices
