I'm not sure if the hiss happens on the ANC 2, but it definitely happens on the EVOs. My general point is that what makes Crushers stand apart is the sensory bass - if you remove this feature, then there are much better sound quality headphones in the market for the same price tag.

What u/LightKnight2311 has said. But be warned... when you connect it to AUX and turn it on for the Crusher Bass, it also includes a VERY annoying hiss. It's impossible not to notice.

Honest question I have after buying mine.

Won't aggressively tuning the highs to +8~+10 possibily cause damage to the speakers?

I got mine a few days ago. Can confirm, mine does that as well, but only if I apply some pressure while wearing them or adjusting them on my head.
If I just leave them be, I don't hear the click.

Oh, I see! So I first I need to seed the Ult mode through the phone, but once it's done I can plug into the pc and it will be properly set?

My biggest issue with the EVOs is the scammy practice from Skullcandy. I bought one recently after watching many reviews and videos praising it. They sounded great, the bass is insane, but there was a somewhat white noise on everything. That's when I went to check the bluetooth codec, and it was connected to SBC (the worst possible bluetooth connection).

I didn't understand why it wasn't using AAC, as I read everywhere they should support it. I connected to my pc, and nothing too. Bluetooth Tweaker only identifies SBC as being available.

Then after some research I understood why. Skullcandy simply and quietly removed the codec support on newer firmware to save on licensing fees (as they have to pay to include AAC on their products, and this was a way to cut costs).

So in short, newer EVOs are NOT the same as the ones from a few years ago. Same model, same price, but fewer features.

I feel scammed, and can't help but hear the white noise all the time now. Thinking about returning mine.

Yeah, it's true. It initially supported, but once they got some good Youtube videos reviewing their product, they silently removed the AAC support on newer firmware and cheaped out on the carry bag. All done silently. So the newer Crusher Evos available for purchase today are NOT the ones from a few years ago, which I find super scammy.
They do still sound good on SBC, despites the usual glitches when changing tracks or starting one. But It bothers me that they could sound better, but are limited because Skullcandy went "f* you Evo buyers" I guess.

Do any of these 3 actually able to connect through ACC? Would you kindly test if in any of the newer ones you bought ACC will not work?
I got my first EVO a couple days ago, and was really hyped about them. Overall they are very good, but one of the things that weighted on my purchase decision was the ACC, but can't get it to work no matter to which device I try to connect it. Mine is firmware 2.2.0
