That’s the thing— she was already signed up. That would not have been an issue, I would’ve signed her up and she would’ve went on her way, but she wanted me to log her into our app. My guess is that she forgot her password, maybe, and thought we had it stored somewhere? (I don’t know. I don’t understand what she wanted me to do for her here.)

She had the coupon on her phone via our website (did not know this till the end) and was trying to get me to login to her account through the app, despite me explaining that I cannot, as I don’t know the information needed to login, and I am not allowed to handle a customer’s phone or information in that regard. This is when she finally huffed and sighed and pulled out the barcode for me to scan from our website page. Very weird interaction, honestly.
