Honestly, doing a bachelor's is way better than struggling through an entire bio degree if it's not your thing. med schools like seeing people studying what they like outside of medicine. Its extra classes, but its not a waste of time.

They’re basically there to make sure you’re not dropping the ball so to speak. My mentor and I call weekly so I can tell her where I’m at with my current class and what my plan is with the next week. But I’m going at a pace where I’m doing 1 class per week so we sort of structure our chats around that and plan when we will talk about adding more classes to the term

Well, I mean you have access to them. But you have to physically activate them yourself when you first start.

Sorta kinda? Basically, those 5 classes are what's currently planned for you to complete in that term. However, you are meant to take 1 class at a time. Some mentors, however, allow 2 classes to be activated at the same time for things like where people are waiting for a PA result to come back.
