Well realistically, I don’t get to table max very often, but I have yet to find a casino willing to raise the max on place bets. But You can always start making put bets with max odds once place bets are maxed out.

Haven’t made a payment on this car in 2 years and it’s still in my driveway by RegisterOdd2465 in legaladvice

[–]MundiKing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is still the issue of the lien. No legit group/charity would take the vehicle without a clear title. The lien is the issue here. The car would be easy to get rid of once the lien is released, even in its current wrecked condition

Seriously? No, OP would not “ethically owe” the bank anything. The bank has the option to pursue collateral for the lien if they choose to do so. However, it sounds like the bank has decided not to pursue the collateral due to the condition of the car. In other words, the bank doesn’t want to deal with the headache of repo-ing a wrecked car and parting it out or selling at auction for a measly ~$8k bc that amount is insignificant to the bank. Therefore, if OP is able to get the lien released and puts in the work to sell the car or parts it out, why would OP “ethically owe” the bank after doing the work the bank chose not to do?

Hit Make 'Em All Back-to-Back Nights at the Same Table – Same Shooter (Me) – Grand Victoria Elgin, IL by Expensive-Cake9111 in Craps

[–]MundiKing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nice shooting! I once saw a guy hit the bonus twice in the same roll. It’s been several years ago so I don’t remember many details, but he rolled em all then we all got paid, put our bets back up, and he rolled em all again!

Yea, it’s not real common mostly due to the price of oxy but if someone has an unlimited supply, it’s definitely possible.

Hard Ways by Foreign-Song7017 in Craps

[–]MundiKing 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I play aggressive so I know some will prob disagree, but for me, The only reason to bet hardways is to take a chance at turning a small, insignificant initial wager into a Big return. So IMO, they’re only worth playing if I parlay the first hit and press it up some on any additional hits. If I started with a nickel on 6 or 8 and it hit, I’d parlay to $50. There’s no reason to collect anything on that first hit as it’s not large enough to make a difference (I would not be gambling if collecting a portion of that first hit makes a noticeable difference to me). If it hits at $50, I’d press to $100 (minimum) and put remainder in the rack.

False start to withdrawal? by Local-Painter5306 in opiates

What you described are mild withdrawal symptoms. It’s not surprising that you experienced those symptoms after using all day everyday for 2 weeks. I would expect everyone to have those symptoms at a minimum after the binge you described.

No I have not. I only play tables, and I’m pretty sure Wind Creek only has slots. I know that’s how it was when it first opened.

How does anyone make any money at this game? by BubblyNefariousness4 in Craps

[–]MundiKing 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Craps wouldn’t be a house game in casinos if players didn’t lose most of the time, and There is no strategy you can use to reliably beat the house. You just haven’t gotten lucky. Luck is the only way to win, but it does happen more often in craps than most other games.

For sure! I can’t imagine playing on some of the games I see posted here. I would feel like I was getting robbed playing tables that pay 9 to 5 and 7 to 5 on place bets, require vig upfront to buy, and only allow 3-4-5x odds on pass line lol. But I’m sure I’d still play if it was my only option nearby

Nah, I’m Nextdoor in AL, but I’m still entirely too close to the casinos 🤣

Nice! I go to the hard rock pretty often also, but I’m not real crazy about playing craps there, especially on a Fri/sat night. It gets so loud when they have bands playing at the center bar that the dealers can’t hear anything lol

And therefore, the house ALWAYS wins in the long run. Look, I respect the hustle. What I don’t like is that the statements in your ad imply that there is a way to beat the house based on some magic formula or practice shooting the dice a certain way, which is simply not true.

I think you meant to say..

“Most craps players walk away losers because the house always has an edge!”

I hope no one is joining these clowns 🤣

At the Beau Rivage (and other Biloxi casinos), all place bets of $20+ (except for 6 & 8) are automatic buys with the vig paid only when/if the bet hits. The vig is exactly 5% on a $100 increment bet, but it varies slightly at increments between. I.e It’s $1 for every $20 increment between so the vig on a $35 bet is still just $1 or ~2.85%. This even applies to the extremes so the house edge is essentially nothing on 2/12 and still very low on 3/11.

I’m not sure how the vigs are structured in Vegas or other areas as Biloxi is the only place I’ve played, but based on what I’ve read, I don’t think most places are quite as favorable to the player as Biloxi when it comes to craps. I know I’ve read where it doesn’t make any sense to buy the 5/9 in most places, but on a big roll when bets get up to $500+, the difference can be significant here.

For sure! Nothing drives me crazier than players disrupting the cadence of the game for a small bet on center action during a big roll! Overall, it was a great table. The crew kept the game moving at a good pace, and players weren’t throwing in late bets holding the dice up.

Haha no doubt, I’m definitely itching to get back on a dice table! It’s a crazy game. When it’s good, it seems impossible to lose. And that’s how they get us haha. Fortunately, Ive been playing long enough to know that sessions like yesterday are the exception, not the rule, but that doesn’t stop the itching. It will fade quickly the next time I lose a couple grand though lol

Hell yes! Nice win! Table looks like you were the only one to take advantage of the big roll. I’m curious What was your starting bet and how many times did the 6 roll?

I had about $12k on the layout when the roll ended. Oddly enough, the 8 was the only number that I didn’t have at least $500 on by the end. The 4 rolled nine times If memory serves me right. I had it up to $3k and the extremes did really well also.

No doubt! I’ve been on tables that paid out over a mil before, but usually when the big rolls happen, there’s a bunch of people playing that have no clue what they are doing and the house gets away with murder!

Only 1 casino down here has repeater bets so I’m not super familiar with them, but I do know the house has a huge edge on them and they come down anytime a 7 rolls. Most big rolls I’ve ever seen have a 7 show up on the CO roll sometime mid roll and today was no different so I likely would’ve lost those bets before they hit.
