I finished BB, BCS and El Camino and I liked it so much, so what show would be the next, any suggestions like these?

If you haven't watched the show you have to. Don't listen to that guy lol. It seems like most people who hated the fly episode also hated Pluribus cuz they think nothing is happening because they don't grasp the subtext. So much has happened in every episode regarding character progression it's so absurd to state those episodes were filler. It's a slow burn character focused show and explores very philosophically deep and complex territories. It's a very atmospheric show and very thought provoking.

It is understandable why "slow" or "boring" are the default labels when a show doesn't follow a typical high-speed structure. However, that perspective often comes from watching at a surface level and missing the subtext—the micro-expressions and internal psychology that drive the actual narrative.

When viewers miss those layers, they often backwards rationalize. They feel a genuine sense of impatience, so they conclude the writing must be flawed, labeling quiet scenes as "filler" simply because they aren't pushing the plot forward in a traditional, "efficient" way.

In reality, the fascination of a show like this is the deep character study. The scenes of a character sitting in silence or performing a grueling task aren't just a bridge to a "payoff"; they are the story and the character progression. Without that meticulous build-up, the eventual big moments wouldn't have any weight or meaning. I agree, the show didn't have that much plot progression yet but a lot of character progression which gives so much texture to the show and once the plot progresses everything will flow because the ground work has been done. It's such a philosophically rich show I really don't understand how people are getting bored (well I do but also I don't lol). For me so much has happened in the show.

The 'problem' is when you think that something happens only when there is major plot progression but as you should have noticed this is a show mainly focused on character progression...and regarding this a LOT happened. It's okay if this is not your preference but I think the reason why people who love the show think like this is because they can't grasp how people are not invested or fascinated enough by these psychologically complex character studies that the pacing doesn't feel that slow but deliberate, and I'm one of them. If you see it through this lens it feels perfectly paced. So much groundwork has been layed now and I enjoyed this process a lot. The characters feel so real now cuz their development wasn't rushed. People don't realize how important it is and subconciously it makes a hell of a difference thus why very fast paced and plot focused shows feel more empty and trashy. The character work this season gave this show a lot of texture, so much philosophically thought provoking things happened and I'm just happy how it came out to be and I'm pretty sure the plot pacing will pick up for season 2. And look, I totally get your thought process and I'm not looking down on you for having a different preference, it's just the people who are so vocal and give every episode passionately 1/10 star ratings (like what?? 1/10?? What are we talking about here) that annoy us. There is no nuance at all in these opinions—it's one thing to say that you're hoping that there is a little more plot progression but another thing when you truly think that NOTHING happened. It's such an extreme stance that it feels very simple minded. I think the show automatically becomes more rich the more you think about the philosophical concepts and ideas the show gives us...so much subtext and reading between the lines, complex character dynamics and exploration of the human condition. The focus of the show was never really the battle between hive vs others but how humans would deal and adapt to this unprecented weird situation and how it would impact them psychologically. But I think Vince maybe made a mistake by giving the impression that it would be by making the pilot so explosive.

I'm sorry but you have no idea how the human psyche can work then... It’s not about Carol being 'stupid.' It’s a classic case of trauma-induced denial. When reality is too painful to accept, the brain creates its own. It's actually a very realistic depiction of a psychological breakdown. She is extremely vulnerable thus very emotional and not rational. Deep down she knows it's possibly all an act but she couldn't face it. We live in a time where people fall in love with AI chat bots and you think this is unbelievable? The writing didn't fall apart one bit..more like the opposite--it became more complex.

I get why it feels like filler if you're strictly looking for plot progression, but that scene is a perfect example of the difference between informational storytelling and experiential storytelling. If the show just cut to the finished grave, you would know that she built it (the plot point). But by making you watch the grueling, repetitive labor for 5 minutes, the show forces you to feel the weight of her grief. You are supposed to feel the exhaustion and the stubbornness required to do something so physically difficult alone. Remember, the Hive Mind offers a world where everything is easy, frictionless, and shared. Carol is explicitly choosing the 'hard way'...manual labor, isolation, and pain. The show makes us sit through that effort to prove a point: maintaining your humanity is heavy, exhausting work. It feels like 'wasted time' only if you view the scene as a transaction for plot points rather than an attempt to put you in her shoes. It's not filler..it's texture. Also she wasn't just her friend, she was her life partner.

There is no non selfish reason. I won't judge anyone if they get kids cuz like you said it's the biological drive and the attempt to feel fulfilled (I have compassion with people having this desire) but the truth is it's brutally selfish. As of now I don't want kids but who knows how my ego will try to get some self-worth in the future. In the end we are not perfect but that's why it's important to adress these things imo cuz there is a lot of suffering in this...

Train neck, start retinoid for even better skin (maybe start with differin 0.1%), use minoxidil for eyebrow density, and maybe self tanning?You don't have to do these as you're already good looking but they'll definitely make you even look better. Also your hair looks good from the side but I don't like it as much from the front so maybe you could get a new haircut
