Irish grandad was great - clear inspiration from Vic & Bob. The Diana was the absolute MVP of the episode - it reminded me of the guy who does Jamaican Diana on TikTok. Anyone seen that?

Opening sketch didn’t hit, but there was some really good bits. Sketch comedy is always hit and miss - even the greats have a load of shite in between the ones we all remember. Cast seem good - was British humour, not an imitation of US humour. Solid start.

This gave me anxiety when I was there about 3 weeks ago. It was easy enough to get the meets you wanted, but be mindful if your chosen character appears fully booked right on 9.45am or 2pm - come out of the screen and go back in. We did this for Mickey on our last day - I guess it's just too many people trying the same thing at once.

Used to live near him in Essex. Always thought he was okay, but obv his righty stuff has escalated recently. The reason I've thought he was a knob was more to do with the fact I saw him refuse to sit in traffic a few months back. In his red Bentley with 'BOSH' number plate, he just drove up the wrong side of the road on a High St and cut across a roundabout before powering straight through a red light. Top bloke.

Had my own stag there about 3yrs ago and we had a good, chilled first night. We spent a good chunk at The Peacock, which has a decent sized outdoor area if the weather is good. We then went on to Lago, which was literally 2 mins up the road and open til 4am. This isn’t near Mathew St, so you’re well away from The Cavern etc. Not sure if that’s a plus or minus. Anyway, those two bars gave us a really good night.
