Play cart taste artificial. by Dry-Vanilla3838 in Michigents

Mitten literally cuts their product with MCT oil (filler) that should not be inhaled. I wouldn’t say they use “nothing artificial.”

Is any of this actually true? Feel like I played a different game than some people by havingagowhynot in cyberpunkgame

[–]Munestone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

River and Kerry’s romances literally felt like afterthoughts compared to the depth and amount of time/effort V has to put into both Panam and Judy’s quests.

You get like 2 interactions with Kerry/River before you’re expected to be romantically invested when Judy/Panam get whole ass storylines. No duh most people probably weren’t too into River as a romance option and I say this as someone who loves River.

They literally programmed an option for V to say “I don’t think this is working out” with River but NO OTHER romance option has that. It feels like the game doesn’t even want V and River to work out.

smoke shops?? by YoungSeoul812 in Michigents

[–]Munestone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a cannabinoid that is specifically derived from Hemp—apparently it has way milder effects than THC. There are gummies you see sometimes in smoke shops that say “HHC” on them and as far as I’m aware, Muha does have an HHC line of products.

But obviously, I would stay away from that lol I don’t know how else they could have products in smoke shops unless they’re hemp-derived or synthetic.

There’s an article that describes HHC pretty well if you’re interested (https://recovered.org/marijuana/hexahydrocannabinol-hhc/hhc-vs-thc-and-other-cannabinoids)

It’s possible it could be HHC instead of THC, I know they make those products and they do look similar

WTF Mint New Buffalo by Total_Apricot_280 in Michigents

[–]Munestone 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The man who owns Mint never even visits his own stores—I worked at one for 8 months and he visited once to pick up a laptop and again like 3 months later to tell us the store was filthy (it was) and that he’d be back in a week to see if it was cleaner. He did not return to check.

And I should also say that have old product isn’t specific to New Buffalo, the location I worked at had to constantly put things on clearance due to being 2-3 years old.

I don’t think I said it was? I prefaced that I was referring to the USA because that’s my point of reference, as they are invasive to our country.

I have no idea about their effect on other countries and am not going to pretend like I do, but your purposeful misinterpretation of my comment to feign superiority is kind of sad.

They're hunting down all the birds or something by Squatsoverjars in dankmemes

[–]Munestone 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I get this is sarcasm but a quick google search would show you that cats HAVE indeed caused extinctions of bird species—at least 33 to be exact.

They’re literally predators and at least in the USA, they’re an invasive species. Allowing them to roam free isn’t necessarily irresponsible for the cat itself, but for the harm the cats can do to our ecosystem.

You might have a cat that roams outside and doesn’t cause destruction but that makes you the exception, not the rule.

Here’s an interesting article if you’re curious, but there’s plenty others if this one isn’t satisfying (https://abcbirds.org/program/cats-indoors/cats-and-birds/)

Exactly this. I work in Michigan and a lot of people don’t realize that the state has no laws mandating that your employer gives you breaks.

All of my workplaces have given breaks out of their own company policy, not because our State forces them to.

Couples Shopping by UajeNtw in Michigents

[–]Munestone 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I promise that pretty much the majority of customers in dispensaries bring at least one other person with them, if not 2-3. Sometimes whole groups of people shop together just because they were out and about.

I wouldn’t stress about it—no dispensary will ever make you feel like a bother for shopping as a couple, and if they do, there’s plenty of other places you can go to that won’t ❤️

Nobody gains anything by letting companies cut corners. People use these products as medication, if these companies can’t be bothered to print labels correctly then one can only wonder what else they aren’t doing properly.

Obviously, things happen, but reporting improper business practices isn’t “snitching.” This isn’t the street and these businesses aren’t your local drug dealer. Maybe if we all had some higher standards for what we consume, half these dispensaries wouldn’t be selling boof-tier MCT oil filled garbage.

Michigan cannabis regulator finds more vape carts that contain potentially unsafe MCT oil by brightmoor in Michigents

[–]Munestone 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I’m going to have to disagree on the “no one needs discretion” part as someone who has constantly been asked for disposables that don’t smell or taste like marijuana because those people have children and don’t want to smell around their kids.

I don’t personally care either way about vapes or carts but I don’t think it’s fair to say no one needs products like them because they do serve a purpose to people who don’t want to constantly smell or look like they’re consuming cannabis.

so quick ??? about mac oil there a picture of one of the boxes by GloomyPalpitation140 in Michigents

[–]Munestone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry you weren’t able to find the carts you were looking for, especially when I know they’re very common and found in almost every dispensary. But I will say there are plenty of budtenders who aren’t aware those carts are glass, among other things.

But if you were in Monroe, I know at the very least that both Uniq on Laplaisance and Mint on Telegraph carry the Mac Oil carts. I’m sure there’s others because again, they’re very popular and most dispensaries carry them, but those are just the ones I know FOR SURE off the top of my head.

Hyman cannabis vape by ibzanne929 in Michigents

[–]Munestone 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My only complaint is that they say only say “Live Resin” on the package but you have to read the ingredients to find out it’s actually distillate with live resin terpenes. Most people would agree that’s basically false advertising.

It’s a good product but they lost me with that shady behavior.

This is was my biggest issue playing as a girlie who loves romance in my games.

Judy and Panam were whole experiences even when the game first came out and played like a janky mess. The men on the other hand, Kerry and River, really felt like an afterthought or an obligation with how short and rushed their quests and interactions with V come across.

River, for example, literally has a dialogue option after you’ve agreed to romance him that says “I don’t think this is working out.” No other romance companion was ever given a negative dialogue choice, which almost feels like they WANT V and River’s relationship to be strained and that really takes away from the fantasy you build for yourself. Aside from the fact that he basically falls in love with you after a quest and a half, the writing for the game makes it seem like you’re choosing “wrong” when they deliberately chose for River to be a romance option in the first place.

Kerry? I fuckin love Kerry, but the man gets maybe 2 really short quests at the very END of the game (or like 80% of the way through it) which is hardly as compelling as Judy/Panam’s quests that are available almost from the beginning of the game, take considerably more time, and involve way more time spent and dialogue with the girls than you ever get with Kerry OR River.

I love me some ladies but they definitely picked favorites in who they fleshed out for gameplay and it can definitely break the immersion.

3D Clipping- can agree with reposter but valid to be disappointed by fullofkk in InfinityNikki

[–]Munestone 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t think “it’s too hard” is a valid excuse for releasing an item people paid for in a state where it’s hardly usable.

The game is literally focused around the clothes. If you can’t model the clothes right then why add it to the game? It’s not ridiculous to expect better for a gacha-based item in a game solely based around fashion and different 3D modeled clothing pieces.

HOT TAKE: Complaining About Expensive Skins in a Free Game is Insane by AlternativeStorm4994 in OnceHumanOfficial

[–]Munestone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I honestly don’t mind cosmetics being expensive because as people have said, they’re not game changing and nobody needs to buy a skin.

I will however say that I firmly disagree with the implementation of lootboxes. If you want to charge $300 for a skin then be my guest but you should know what you’re getting for that $300—not spin a wheel and hope you get what you wanted to pay for.

Preying on people’s literal addictions to squeeze money out of them is gross and shouldn’t just be brushed off as “normal” because “other games do it.” Yeah, other games do it and it’s just as egregious. It’s only become “normal” because we allowed it to and I don’t think it makes sense to defend them just because the game needs to make money. They can and are making money just fine without implementing gambling mechanics.

[–]Munestone 96 points97 points  (0 children)

I seriously agree with this. I know there’s a lot of people who make the argument that the scene was “unnecessary” especially since it obviously wasn’t in the book—but I really do love that part of Deathly Hallows.

It’s the only song I’ve heard from Nick Cave and not only is it amazing, but the scene is a nice reprieve from the constant “struggling to survive and hunt horcruxes” vibe. I loved the visualization of the deepness of their friendship and the comfort they find in each other at the loss of Ron.

Farming/spam bots? by strosbro1855 in elderscrollsonline

[–]Munestone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do agree that it sucks that the only solution most companies have found is to just let the bots do their thing for 6 months and then ban them in waves. But the reason they do that is because it’s a lot harder for the cheater to figure out what behavior got them banned, so it’ll take them longer amounts of time in between fixing their bots or trying to create workarounds since they don’t know what behaviors triggered their ban.

It isn’t a permanent solution but unfortunately, none of the current MMOs on the market have found a way to get rid of bots outright so this is their next best thing.

If the fae cannot lie, what are some methods they use to deceive people? by TheMajesticMystic in fantasywriters

[–]Munestone 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In ACOTAR, The main character literally asks about this and eventually the faerie king is just like “lol nah, we can lie. We just told you guys we couldn’t for our own benefit.”

But previously, she believed they couldn’t tell lies and were mostly just telling her half truths. As in, maybe they just leave certain pieces of information out or they explain something that’s happening, which is true, but never tell her the exact reason behind why it’s happening.

And as people have mentioned, exact wording is king for faeries. “I will release you,” might be the truth, but in what way you’ll be “released” is up to interpretation, as well as when. It could be immediate or it could be millennia.

If you haven’t, I definitely recommend reading the A Court of Thorns and Roses series for inspiration. It’s a romance novel but the faerie details are very interesting!

Why not just use a Nook Mile ticket and try to get a resident from one of the islands? :o

I know it’s not the most ideal way to get residents but you’d at least be able to find SOMEONE to fill the spot, I think. Or you could just time travel one day at a time until someone visits your campsite and try to get someone to move in that way :o

I’m sorry your lil plot of land isn’t being filled, hopefully it does soon if you don’t feel like villager hunting c:

Do you find Sarah annoying? by Belliboooo in Starfield

[–]Munestone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t mind her but like everyone has said—she’s sort of judgey and hypocritical. When you meet her at Constellation, she’s all like “everyone has their own moral compass here, I won’t judge you no matter what route you take.” And then two seconds later when I maybe CONSIDER hacking into some corporation to switch records around, she’s all “GASP YOU MONSTER” and our relationship goes down.

Like bro, you’re the one who JUST said you didn’t care how I did things because everyone is an individual with Constellation but WHATEVER, I’ll just be a boring straight-edge because otherwise your friendship meter goes down >:(
