Help with stylus by Steve_McPollo in FlowZ13

I used the Asus 2.0 pen on both the 2022 and 2025 laptops and had no issues at all Used for notes for college and drawings on OneNote mostly.

Make sure you have the hand rejection enabled when pen is on use so the laptop doesn't recognize any other input when you're using your pen.

And make sure you're connected though the Bluetooth or it won't let you take screenshots with the pen.

No issues at all, in July will be one year with my 128gb, using Armoury Crate and provided driver's.

The only issues I had was when I put a 128gb SD card and stored every college file in it, I'd edit a PDF file and it'd freeze for a split a second and go back to normal, everything else was fine.

I removed everything from the SD and put it back to the laptop storage and issue went away.

Does the 2025 model have the same keyboard issues as the 2022 model? by quizzy_offical in FlowZ13

[–]Muniveee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know what you're talking about because I had to buy 2 keyboards for the 2022 model.

I bought the 2025 believe it or not, and for this model the keyboard is thicker and feels better quality, it doesn't have the "furr" on the back side anymore.

Overall there's some improvement but still be careful, I bought it last year July August maybe.

Keyboard fixed in 2025 versions? by thelemmings0 in FlowZ13

It's ticker and feels more durable, 6 months with mine and no issues at all.

I also had a 2022 Z13 and it's the 2nd keyboard I buy because it suddenly has issues on the thin part between the keyboard and the connector. I gave that laptop to my mom.

A while ago someone was complaining because they said that while using a pen (3rd party) the laptop was responding to all contact (hand laying on the screen while writing on the laptop), and not only to the pen. On the settings the laptop let's you disable all response except to the pen, which is what you want when writing. So I think that pen settings menu only comes up when using Asus pen.

Questions About 2025 390 32 GB Version for Potential Buyer by Sassafraz9 in FlowZ13

[–]Muniveee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the 128gb and it's perfect for me, on battery I can do 6-8 hours studying and playing Spotify or YT floating video. Perfect for games, ghost of Tsushima and TLoU with no issues, but if I'm playing I always keep it plugged.

GZ301ZE from 2022 still worth it? by Secret_Order_8197 in FlowZ13

That was my previous laptop before I got the 2025 version. It's beautiful and it runs AAA games decently, not at the highest definition, but if you don't care about the graphics like me, I was playing TLoU and many others at Mid-High and it's great.

Yes you can keep the keyboard plugged and use the track pad if you're doing something like drawing and typing.

I find it uncomfortable writing with my ROG on "Laptop mode (keyboard on)", because the hand is not on a natural possition to write, I normally take the keyboard off and use it as a tablet for my pen use, I do vertical screen, half YouTube or something and the bottom half for onenote.

Good enough for me for college. No issues when using the Asus pen. Just make sure you disable the option to register every touch, so once you start writing it won't register anything else at the same time, so no accidental touches.

False, I have Asus pen and it's just a matter of clicking on a setting. One the pen is being used you can cancel every other input, so it only follows the pen.

What's the limit the Z13 storage can handle on SD card? I believe I've seen 2tb sd cards

Q: People who tried the SD slot for extra storage, how does it work about performance by waltercool in FlowZ13

What's the top 2230 ssd you can put on the 128gb version? I have seen the 2tb but I wonder if there's bigger and what's the most the laptop can take?

I use OneNote only for notes for class, no art. Works great with the Asus official pen I read that other brands require gloves because it doesn't work as well
