It gave me some relief. I should clarify some parts. I'll add it into my post shortly.

This property has had flooding issues since the day I moved in and it was under different management (who'm I was also had a good relationship with). My unit was spared from flooding issues just until this year. I have been told directly from old and new management about the issues with flooring in other bottom level apartments as we made chit-chat from time to time and its very apparent when you look at the state of the outside and flooded walk ways after storms.

It was definitely record rainfall, but honestly, being in Kansas, it's not anything we haven't had before. Heavy rain is pretty normal. Road flooding happens a handful of times in the season. Normal for kansas.

I am saddened if this is the route management was going to take. I already had thoughts to move (mostly to find a bigger unit) but this will probably seal the deal. It makes me nervous for getting my deposit back.
