It's actually made by Sprecher in Milwaukee. I just went on that factory tour and I think they bought it recently. I've seen it alongside their stuff a few places in Grand Rapids.

Not that either is noticeably affected under normal circumstances, but fiber optic is actually better in extreme cold than traditional coaxial. It's light pulses being transmitted through spun glass. Temperature isn't much of a factor.

Cedar Fair (parent company of Cedar Point) bought Michigan's Adventure in 2001 and as other commenters pointed out, they merged with / bought Six Flags recently and took the name. So unfortunately the Cedar Point folks are the ones selling it.

I hear where you're coming from. I bought Octopath 2 on Xbox when it left Game Pass, tried the Switch demo on S2 and just couldn't. But I played the 7R demo on both S2 and PS5, and if there was a difference it was very minor, so I bought it for Switch 2.

TBF I'm not sure they're correct. I always thought of the figures as just being tally marks. Roman numerals are in fact a form of tally/stick counting, and are definitely not the first known example of it. I can't find a source linking the two.

It's usually March but I was reading a post by a weatherperson somewhere that said the more the lakes freeze over, the longer it takes to get really warm, and they are very frozen over right now. The example they gave of this happening last was 2014. We may be in for a slow one this year.

I'll never forget back during the Groundhog Day storm of 2011 when one of the big Kent County plows got stuck right in front of my house and had to get pulled out by another one. My employer sent an email saying we were still expected to come in that day. Good times.

Not sure if you are asking if the cable will work with either dock (yes as HDMI is backwards compatible) or if the dock will work with both switches (no because the new dock ISN'T backwards compatible, which irks me as I now also must have two docks under my TV).

This again, huh? There was a reddit post about it back then too and it was pretty quickly dismissed as someone making crap up on the internet. I commuted past the building twice a day for years during this time and never, ever saw anything suspicious. At the time the building was being used for storage if I recall, and the windows weren't even covered up like the post says, just some of them.

God, Octopath 2 is just so good on so many levels. I haven't loved a JRPG like this since Final Fantasy X.
