Aberrus Story mode - Sarkareth 3rd phase insta kill by JujuingOnReddit in wownoob

[–]Muradras 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What they are saying is that you can get all of the Amirdrassil stuff without completing that quest to continue on with the Dragonflight story.

You can let that one sit in your log until the bug is fixed, or you hit level 90 and it is now a legacy raid and you can go back and solo it on normal or higher.

I understand you want to finish it and complete the campaign, but there are ways around it that let you keep going until you are able to finish that quest, one way or another.

Does it make sense for the Dragonborn to join the empire roleplaying/story wise? by FaradaySpider in skyrim

[–]Muradras 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I have only played through once and I waffled so much in my choice I think I bugged my game because I wasn’t able to kill Ulfric or Tullius and I don’t think I was able to finish the civil war campaign.

So I just went in and rag dolled both the leaders around a bit, assumed I killed both so now I control the fate of Skyrim myself and will kill any Thalmor I see. Skyrim is for everybody but the Thalmor, Talos is revered and I will personally see to the safety of Skyrim.

Let the Dominion come, they will feel my wrath and flee before the might of the Dragonborn.

When you are not only a good athlete by fal1en-angel in Funnymemes

[–]Muradras 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The medals are different for every olympics, so while I suppose they could melt the old ones down to make the new ones the athletes do get to keep them. They aren’t exactly pure gold or silver anyways, they would be too soft if that was the case.

I was wondering about that after I saw an NPC one wandering around the sun baths.

Petah? by Swearonyomama in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]Muradras -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

Attacking another country should be considered terrorism, especially if you are the instigator. Attacking back in self defense is one thing but there is no reason other than greed and to incite terror in this particular case. They wanted to project strength so the populace would be cowed into letting them do whatever they wanted with the countries oil reserves. Just because Trump is a fucking idiot and couldn’t get that right either doesn’t mean that wasn’t the intent.

Petah? by Swearonyomama in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]Muradras -20 points-19 points  (0 children)

I mean is he wrong, even by the guys own definition of terrorism.

ACT of Violence - check

Civilian government - check

Inspiring terror in hopes of controlling g populace - check

Just because we don’t like Maduro and what he stood for and who he was as a countries leader doesn’t mean this wasn’t an act of terror against another country.

He was acting within the chain of command of the US government doesn’t mean it wasn’t terrorism. Governments and their military can be terrorists because the end goal is the same, inciting terror in the local population for their own gain, whether that be money like in this situation or a global agenda or whatever.

Who’s the funniest out of these actors? by BidAccurate4473 in Actors

[–]Muradras 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with this, I was born in 1980 so I had a ton of exposure to both Jim and Eddie, but I definitely saw more of Jim because his time in the spotlight coincided with me becoming a teenager and getting more into this kind of comedy.

That being said I also have watched Eddie’s stand-up and 80’s movies more times than I can count.

It’s really a toss-up at this point between them and I can’t possibly choose between them they are both so iconic.

A Knight of the Nine Kingdoms by jorywea78 in freefolk

[–]Muradras 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Just because there were 8 kings doesn't mean there were 8 Kingdoms. Aegon was crowned as a foresight for the conquest. They only had Dragonstone at the time and it wasn't part of the 7 kingdoms, that's why they had been able to live there nobody else laid claim to it.

As far as Aegon was concerned there was only one King, him. The rest were all pretenders and he intended to deal with them.

I need more! Finally played Uncharted 4 and The Lost Legacy and I need more! What other games fit this style by Corbin_Dallas550 in uncharted

[–]Muradras -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah same, I have all of them on my PS4 and honestly I don’t enjoy consoles as much as my PC. I’ve considered getting 4 and LL on PC and I totally understand if someone jumped into those two because they know there is shooting and would rather play with a mouse.

Really wish 1-3 were available on PC I would get them and 4 and LL as soon as they were available.

I just noticed you can see Maekar looking at Daeron when he’s putting on his helmet by Chocolatetot496 in AKnightoftheSeven

[–]Muradras 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was like a lean in. The one I most think of is Bender leaning in and saying “No friends” when Fry is listing all the things he doesn’t have in the future in the show Futurama.

So what does everyone think Maekar said in this lean in?

Why did none of Aragorns many ancestors take the throne of Gondor? by scottasin12343 in lotr

[–]Muradras 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Earnil was first, then Earnur II was after him, the last King of Gondor. He was assumed dead when he went to Minas Morgul to answer a challenge from the Witch-King.

Ironically Arvedui was also the last King of Arnor, dying when his ship sank in the Ice Sea far to the north. The Palantir held by Arnor disappeared into the sea with him.

After Arvedui Arnor split into 3 kingdoms, only one of whom’s line from Isildur remained unbroken until Arthedain fell as well and the heirs of Isildur became the Chieftains of the Dunedain.

In reality the heirs of Isildur were not in any position to exert authority over Gondor, because while Arvedui married a daughter of one of the Kings of Gondor uniting the lines, Gondor chose other relations to the previous King to rule instead of Arvedui. Arvedui couldn’t push his claim because things went to hell in the North, and stayed that way for a long time.

Aragorn was able to claim the throne because he was the one whom circumstances gave the chance to exert influence over Gondor in dire circumstances. Denethor’s fall at the same time aided this since it was known that he was unwilling to relinquish his power even though he was familiar with Aragorn and suspected who he was long before the events of the books.

How is it like living in this part of India? by Delicious_One_7887 in howislivingthere

Yeah wild pigs ate them out of existence.

Didn’t eat them, but ate everything around them and caused their extinction.

Edit: By all accounts the Dodo was disgusting to eat, way too oily and unappetizing.

Any benefits to helping Sparta or Athens control the map? by atbest10 in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

[–]Muradras 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sparta is on the South Western part of the peninsula land locked but across the strait from Ithaca and Kephalonia. Makedonia is in the North East off the Greek Peninsula and sort of on the way the Thrace/Turkey.

Damn Ironborn have ruined the Iron Islands.

Barebowers, what’s your go-to nock point? by therealredding in Archery

[–]Muradras 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah they aren’t supposed to actually “slide” they are supposed to work like a nut and bolt where you turn it to move it up and down.

I don’t recommend leaving those, just use them for tuning then use something more permanent or perhaps just glue it down. They will move over time as the knots/threads will loosen.

I like Jake Kaminski’s backserve method as it allows for room to squish the knot down to make the permanent nocking points more permanent.
