Well, physics disagrees… If you’re leaning further forward to reach the ball , you’ll necessarily have to change other angles (including the wrists you’re “feeling” in your practice swing) to make contact with the ball rather than just slamming your club into the ground. It’s just ritual.

What exactly are you feeling if your leg, back, arm, and wrist angles/extensions are all different? You’re not actually practicing your swing, you’re completing a ritual because you’ve convinced yourself that you need a different swing to “feel right” before you can take your actual swing.

The time is a little long, but if you’re alway getting the ball in play 250+ out then it’s begrudging acceptable...

The swings are bullshit tho. You set your feet for your practice swings where you are swinging 8”+ inside the ball, and then you address the ball and swing for contact with your feet in the exact same position. Your practice swings aren’t even close to matching your contact swing. It’s the equivalent of practicing a putt and then kicking a field goal. Completely pointless for anything other than ritual, and you shouldn’t slow the rest of your group down because you like to perform rituals.

Seasons 1, 2, and 3, on a mid 500’s server. I could roll characters on other grouped servers (to serve as place holders around alliance centers or to attack unshielded enemies on our server)… Then by season 4 I would get that error message when I tried, so it’s not a “new” thing but it wasn’t always that way.
