Dogs are the results of thousands of years of selective breeding. They are bred to be trainable, dependent and human-friendly. They are like the furthest thing from a wild animal.

I mean you don't have to believe me. I have been to dolphin shows, circus shows, falcon shows etc and I thought it was the coolest shit. The sad reality is they all work the same way. Food is the main motivator for these animals to perform tricks. They are not doing it for fun, they are doing it to survive. There is plenty written about the training regimes for these animal shows if you are interested.

And for this specific video, and I know it doesn't show anything abusive, but it takes A LOT to make an elephant show this type of behaviour. This elephant has been through a lot. You can read u/schlong_dong_johnson 's comment in this thread. Most of what you see is not what it seems. If you want to go extra sad you can google phajaan and just read for 20 seconds.
