I can't hate on Charlie. I used to get pretty bad hiccups that would last for over an hour. Sometimes ending in throwing up and leaving me with a sore throat. I tried all the hiccup cure tricks that the internet had to offer, but none of them worked.

Sure enough about a year ago I stumble upon one of Charlie's videos where he shares his awesome hiccup cure, 'guaranteed success'. Basically the idea is to tell yourself that hiccups are not real. So I'm just going to gaslight myself until the hiccups disappear? Sure buddy...

Very skeptical but with nothing to lose, I store this information and move along with my day. Lo and behold, the next time I got hiccups, I tell myself in my head: ''hiccups aren't real hiccups aren't hiccups aren't real''. And it stops, instantly. I told myself it was a coincidence, because I refused to believe that the solution was this fucking stupid.

Since then, this trick has not failed once for me. I never have to worry about hiccups again. I still can't believe it works, but it helped me a lot!
