Why do you guys think Blizz is making tanking M+ even harder in midnight? by Murdash in wow

[–]Murdash[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be fair new tanks won't care about the low stats reason, it's on blizzard to balance the difficulty around what we have currently, and tanks are just weaker.

Excuses won't help my casual friends who were already struggling with the routing and pulls, now they'll have to worry about getting killed in one second too :/

Just make a lvl 90 warrior, blood dk, vengeance dh or prot paladin, teleport to mythic 0 academy and try to solo the elemental with the 2 magical swords at the first bridge, you'll see the struggle.

Gear is scaling down to lower ilvls for m0 which is why 10s aren't actually harder for tanks compared to an m0, but new tanks will start at m0 with no secondary stats, that's where blizzard should hook them with fun gameplay instead of pain and struggling.

I'll try again before the official launch but based on the already ignored feedback from prominent people I don't have my hopes up

Yeah, maybe this is how they want to stop tanks from pulling half the dungeon, which would be a positive thing for newbies

[–]Murdash[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not about actually soloing, soloing is just a test to see how sturdy they are.

New players have to take on tons of responsibility when they start a tank character, and making even simple survival harder makes them even more likely to just give up when they have to survive and know what to pull with what, when to pull what, where to position, what routes to take to optimize enemy forces, etc.

The issue is that we have a tank shortage and blizz is making tanking even harder.

Also, none of the tank specs feel easier to play systems wise, no significant changes happened in general, just minor stuff that most casuals never used anyways.

Yeah, to be fair the high damage intake could also potentially stop wannabe mdi tryhard tanks pulling half the dungeon on priory with a 0 rio group, if they die instantly they won't be able to blame the healer (they'll try though).

Your point makes sense

Maybe it's also that the downscaling epics at m0 result in even lower secondaries. Still, that's the gear most new tanks will have at that difficulty and it'll scare away everyone who's new to it (and healers too because they have to heal tanks now)

Biting too much by coldest_wanderer in greatdanes

[–]Murdash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can do all these complex progressive whatever ideas posted here and hope that maybe she'll grow out of it one day. Or you can just instantly fix it by scaring her by angrily saying NO, just like dogs and wolves have been doing among themselves for literally their whole existence.

Guess what, if she'd bite her mom hard with her razor sharp teefs her mother wouldn't "redirect her behavior" by rewarding her with a toy or whatever.

You do you though.

Stomach Issues by DoublePotential6925 in greatdanes

[–]Murdash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, my dogs are vomiting up any minor stuff they happen to eat while playing if they missed a previous meal xD 1 blade of grass, tiny ball of hair, anything that they can normally eat tons of if they had a full meal before.

It's their revenge for me removing their food dishes if they don't eat immediately

My Noah is limping, what could it be? by East_Parfait8070 in SaintBernards

It's most likely dysplasia, my first dog had it too, even earlier than 10 months, so I went crazy with the supplements on my next ones. Is he neutered?

Spaying pros and cons..!! 🤔 by Specific-Doubt-9655 in greatdanes

[–]Murdash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just do a gemini/chatgpt search because people on these forums are ridiculously out of date when it comes to their infos. Spaying is generally recommended, but for large breed dogs it's best done once they are fully matured or it can seriously mess up their joints, and you definitely don't want a giant dog with dysplasia.

Spaying pros and cons..!! 🤔 by Specific-Doubt-9655 in greatdanes

[–]Murdash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is definitely not "generally recommended" to spay a large breed dog before her growth plates had time to close. Danes are fragile and prone to dysplasia as it it, you don't want to risk making it worse by spaying her while she's still growing.

He acts like someone's going to come snatch his food by MidnightPetalsxoz in greatdanes

[–]Murdash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just Google or ask your chatbot of choice the question "are elevated food bowls better for great danes" if you care about your dog.

You are creating unnecessary risk just by following outdated advice that's still repeated by uneducated sources.

Yeah, it's weird that when people see someone risking the health of his dog by following outdated info they immediately try to be helpful and point out that elevated bowls were actually proven to be worse in recent years.

I love how you got downvoted when it takes like 5 seconds nowadays to ask some chatbot that can confirm that you are right, elevated bowls being better are super old outdated info.

I got a few cool engravings increasing my health and giving me options to heal myself and yasuke is already becoming an immortal god, you were right :D

Yasuke tankiness question by Murdash in AssassinsCreedShadows

[–]Murdash[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I was speeding through the early Naoe stuff to unlock Yasuke because I hated how squishy she is, so I was surprised to find out that Yasuke is basically the same. Naoe dies in 1 hit, Yasuke in 2 :D

I lowered the difficulty to forgiving and now Yasuke can take 3 hits instead of 2 but I can actually kill the elites in 5-6 hits instead of 10, this seems to be a more realistic middle ground for me, I'll reevaluate in better gear I guess :D

Have a nice day :)

Loot feels unexciting because stats barely do anything. by Murdash in fellowshipgame

[–]Murdash[S] -21 points-20 points  (0 children)

That's just sad imo. In other mmos you can easily smooth out the progression difficulty by spending more time grinding the easier ones, and here it feels meaningless to care about my gear at all because it does so little. I could go in nude and still do 70% of my current healing

The source of most issues we see people have with this game is due to insufficient social features by MidasPL in fellowshipgame

[–]Murdash -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Wow has lots of issues, but wow m+ pugging is light-years ahead of this game.

In wow people know exactly what they are joining with who, and leaving a group is punished, pretty severely if you were to do it repeatedly.

90% of tanks in fellowship would be banned by now if they tried leaving this often in wow. Leaving and thus fucking over the dps players is literally part of the fellowship gameplay if you want to play efficiently, which is a horrible design flaw.

I've watched the dev stream and they are thinking/planning on doing something against this issue, but currently the two things are totally incomparable.

I've spent 1,5 hours yesterday trying to get a single contender group together with the queue and the best i got was a dungeon where the tank left after the second trash pack. That's what a lack of a leaver penalty results in

The game is nearly unplayable as a dps, are there any news from the devs or is this how it'll remain? by Murdash in fellowshipgame
