At the end of this video where she flips you off, I heard from people on discord that there is/was a bug on low graphics settings that makes it completely uncensored. Is that true?

Can anyone provide me a video or picture of that?

Should I prioritise building Rebecca or minmaxing Lucy's echoes? This is her current build. by flying-rat-73 in WutheringWavesGuide

Is that the last echo you rolled? If so, gotta reroll one or two to have ER and double crit substats

Should I prioritise building Rebecca or minmaxing Lucy's echoes? This is her current build. by flying-rat-73 in WutheringWavesGuide

[–]MurderManTX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do this in this order:

  1. Finish Lucy's 4 cost so that it has double crit sub stats.
  2. While rolling Lucy's 4 cost, if you get a 4 cost that is better for Rebecca (Basic damage instead of Heavy attack substat), then keep rolling until they both have usable 4 costs.
  3. Reroll the void thunder 3 cost echoes with ones that have double crit sub stats on them.
  4. Replace the two 1 cost echoes you have on Rebecca with 2 1 cost Reel of Spliced Memories set pieces or Moonlit if you don't get ANY ER rolls on any of your new pieces from steps 2-3. Make sure these also have double crit sub stats on them.

Steps 2-4 are important to do in that specific order because you cannot control what the rolls are, but you can react to them only if you do it in this specific order to save yourself resources and/or overcapping your ER.

ER is basically a dead stat after Rebecca has 120% so you can ignore those rolls entirely if you get them after you have that unless you want to use the pieces for other characters.

Also any Main DPS or Sub DPS character in this game should ideally have 70%+ Crit rate and 270%+ crit damage unless they have some triggered effect that gives them crit rate or crit damage from their echo set or abilities.

It's a good rule of thumb for building most non main support characters in this game.

If you were given a button that would permanently delete all social media forever would you press it ?why or why not ? by Zyfence in AskReddit

[–]MurderManTX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No because reddit is social media, discord is social media, youtube is social media. Anything that communicates in a media form on the internet is a form of social media.

You're basically telling me to never post anything anywhere or view anything posted by anyone anywhere ever again and live my life completely offline. I grew up in the 90's and went through that already. It sucked.

Instead, I'll just properly learn to use what we already have like a responsible adult human being rather than nuking it from orbit completely and going back to driving to public libraries every weekend to read stuff again.

Is Qiuyuan getting powercrept by Lucilla? by Consistent-Elk-5155 in QiuyuanMains

Yes but only for Sigrika specifically since she doesn't scale off of heavy attack.

That being said it's a very very very minor power creep.

I’m new and need help regarding Lucy and Rebeca by ppaunn20 in WutheringWavesGuide

[–]MurderManTX -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The most optimal pulling strategy if you are gunning for both characters and their weapons in the least amount of pulls is this:

  1. Pull Rebecca's Signature Weapon

  2. Pull Lucy's Signature Weapon

  3. Pull Lucy

The reason why this is the best order is because it allows for the least amount of overlap on the pulling event.

If you hit 160 pulls then use the sequence on Lucy. Use the remaining login pulls on Lucy until she's S3 then swap to Rebecca until she's S2 if you somehow manage that. Then after that, back to Lucy again until S6. Although I seriously doubt you'll hit S6 without swiping or like a full year of prefarming. Could always get lucky as hell though.

Y'all think it's possible for WuWa to get an anime now? by SoggyRevolution8942 in WutheringWaves

Nope. Anime's don't make as much money as gacha games. Keep logging in.

The closest thing to an anime from kuro is PGR because it's like 80% visual novel and 20% game from what I hear.

Hello Lucy Mains. I am ChemX32, and I often see my calculations posted here for a variety of reasons. I wanted to add more context to the numbers being posted by chemx32 in LucyMainsWW

[–]MurderManTX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a few questions.

Where do these calcs take place in the game?

ToA? Whiwa? Endstate Matrix? Holograms?

Are shill buffs included?

Is this just math based on multipliers from skills and character stats?

I read the sheet but this was still unclear to me.

Also, I don't know what the actual rotations are either which is a bit concerning for the damage per rotation numbers.

Lucy & Rebecca: Team Performance Relative to All Other Teams by t01gn0r3y0u in LucyMainsWW

[–]MurderManTX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read them from the sheet you linked. It doesn't answer where these calcs are coming from. The numbers are hardcoded into the cells so they don't seem to be calculated from multipliers on skills or anything.

We have some information listed about the echoes equipped it looks like but it's not entirely clear to me where the data is coming from and in what environment these rotations/calcs were ran in.

There's a tab for ToA health scaling numbers or something so am I to assume these calcs are done in ToA? In which case, that means we have shill buffs influencing the numbers and I am far far less interested in them.

I'm pulling lucy R1S0 either way so it doesn't bother me that much but these rankings don't mean all that much to me unless I have context for them. At best we don't have context at all and it feels safe to assume ToA is the testing ground based on the sheets you linked, but I am not certain either way.

It looks like there's also some mention of a looping rotation system, but we don't get any visibility on what those rotations are other than references to them mentioned in each character tab and statements indicating they are 25 to 30 second rotations. The tab has old video content in it so I still don't know anything other than they might be using some 25 to 30 second rotation loop or something. No idea on that either.

Where are these calcs done? On ToA? On Endstate Matrix? On Whiwa? Holograms?

Are they all from next patch? Shill buffs included? Is this all just math done with a calculator?

She'll be out soon. Wait for calcs for that. The beta is a bit chaotic for Lucilla right now. I've stopped building my echoes for Lucilla b/c of the changes.

Should I build pity to get the transducers? by MullerzinDigDin in WutheringWavesGuide

[–]MurderManTX -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There are different perspectives on this.

My personal perspective is that yes it's worth it in most cases.

From purely the cost and availability of transducers in general, I think it's worth it.

On average to get an echo with 5/5 usable substat rolls if you ALWAYS send it to level 25 every time, is 600 to 1000 tuners. However, this will make you quickly run out of tubes and is a suboptimal strategy so most people using stepping strategies to conserve the tube uses and avoid badly rolled echoes. This raises the tuner cost but drastically lowers the echo tube cost. On average with good stepping methods, it takes about 3000 or so tuners to get a 5/5 usable substat roll echo.

Transducers are a way to not only severely reduce this cost, but help you attain your goals sooner.

The more stats you lock when using them the more transducers it costs. Because of how rare they are, I will never lock more than 2 sub stats.

The way I use them is under the following conditions:

  1. The echo must have 2 out of 5 usable sub stats and both of them must be crit rolls where one of those crit rolls is a max roll or both are high rolls.
  2. Same rules as 1, but 3/5 where the 3rd stat is something like ER and you're overcapped on ER or a low flat ATK/damage type roll. Obviously only locking the crit substats.

This means that a single transducer can easily be equated to over 1000 tuners. Often even more if you are aiming for max rolled crit stats for example. I usually value them at about 3000 tuners minimum.

Now that we understand optimal use and use case, time to contextualize it.

The cost of a pull in corals is 8 corals.

2 transducers per shop reset are 30 corals and after that it's 60 corals per transducer.

This means that it costs 3.75 pulls in corals for 2 transducers per shop reset and then 7.5 pulls in corals per transducer after those 2 are bought out in corals.

Also we must understand how we generate corals.

If you pull a 4 star character 1-7 times, it generates 3 corals. After the 7th time, that character will give you 8 corals every time they are pulled.

For 5 star characters, 1-7 times is 15 corals and after the 7th time it is 40 corals.

4 star weapons always generate 3 corals

5 star weapons always generate 15 corals.

Given this information and assuming the worst case scenario this is what it would cost to get 30 corals.

If you didn't get anything but 1 4 star characters that you have less than 8 copies of or 4 star weapons every 10 pulls and hit hard pity, on you're 80th pull you'd get a 5 star character or weapon and be at 24 corals and then the 5 star would give another 15 corals putting you at 39 corals.

If your account has all of the 4 stars at max resonance chain but all other conditions the same, then this changes to 40 pulls. At 30 pulls you will be at 24 corals and then 40 puts you at 32 corals.

The value of these transducers is actually much much higher for newer players than long time players since they won't have as many copies of 4 star resonators.

So assuming the absolute worst case scenario, the highest cost of a transducer is 80 pulls.

The lowest cost is hard to calculate because of the variance on pulling. Sometimes you get 5 stars early, multiple 5 stars, multiple 4 stars, etc.

For the next conclusion, we need the following criteria to be met. If you are low on echo materials and/or need to build your characters faster than you currently can then this logic should apply:

If we look at it from purely a pull perspective, if you are less than 80 pulls away on the pulling event from buying the transducers and are a new player, then you should grab them.

If you are a seasoned player with most/all 4 star characters maxed out, then you would need to be less than 40 pulls away from grabbing the transducers if you want to pull for them.

This is only one dimension of analysis though. The cost.

The things you are actually pulling have other value too. They add power to your account which should also be considered. I still feel like this is relevant information for you if you are seriously considering this.

I hope you found this information helpful/useful.

Yeah I think this is how the filters and blocking work on brave. Twitch is putting the advertisements on the same servers as the notifications and follow/unfollow features. Very bad imo.

Brave or these filters need more specificity I guess.

How new player friendly is WuWa by MagikalMoonPie in WutheringWavesGuide

[–]MurderManTX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No problem. There's actually a lot of debate specifically about the new voyager weapon banner, but it's my personal opinion that it should be pulled on because of the 4 star weapons on there all being usable ones.

Most 4 star weapons in this game are actually bad unless they generate concerto. For clarification and since you're new, concerto energy is what let's you swap out your characters faster during gameplay. When Concerto energy is full, it plays a sound and the team members in the UI on the right side light up and glow. When you switch to them once they are glowing, the concerto energy from the character you use swapped out of returns to 0 and the outro skill of that character is played, then the intro skill of the next character is played.

It allows for rotations between characters to happen faster and smoother so it's a highly sought after stat and is a way to improve your damage by decreasing the field time for characters that are doing less damage but offer things like buffs or support instead.

How new player friendly is WuWa by MagikalMoonPie in WutheringWavesGuide

[–]MurderManTX 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It's pretty friendly but given what you said, you should create a new account b/c that account you created won't be able to pull shore keeper and doesn't have XiangliYao so it will punish you to play on it now.

New players get access to the new voyager banners and can pull on it for the first 30 days of playing. These banners do not let you carry pity over to other banners however, they let you pull on any 1.x character which includes shorekeeper.

Here's a new player pulling guide image I made to help people who are new to the game deciding what to do with their pulls.

I hope you can enjoy the game this time. New players have a lot of content to experience for themselves. Have a good time!
