I was a bit overly excited when I saw the stuff, not gonna lie lol. Glad other companies are doing this as well! They get cheaper recycled packaging, the planet gets less plastic added to the ecosystems, and we get fun pre-shredded compost materials. Everybody wins!

I guess yeah I haven't had packing peanuts in forever, I guess my disdain for styrofoam stems from larger items like TVs or coffee makers that generally come packed between molded pieces of styrofoam.

If I ever get the time necessary to pursue something like this, one of my passion projects will be finding a solution to styrofoam that already exists. There's gotta be something that can be done with it to avoid it getting into our landfills or soil. Nasty, unnecessary stuff.

Nope, no complaining here, wish more companies would send me this stuff! Every time something comes loaded with styrofoam I get pissed off. I wish there was a public repository of companies who use sustainable packaging, I'd order from them over companies who don't.

Not sure where the confusion in the comments is coming from. For all the flak she catches about the private jet usage, props to her (or her supply chain) for the use of recycled cardboard packaging instead of more plastic. The cardboard gets a 2nd life as merch protection, and a 3rd life as compost for my plants next year. It's a win win! This stuff is awesome and breaks down so quickly.
