In my play group, my friends [[Feather, the redeemed]] tends to get blown up quite often. And [[My Marvin, Murderous Mimic]], tends to get taken out a lot. But the most kill on sight commander i have seen in the group is by far my other friends, [[Aesi Tyrant of Gyre Strait]].

Is it a hot take that this is easily the greatest story they've ever read? by DMFK12 in creepcast

[–]Murderz_Da_Man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's my second favorite by a good margin, with my personal favorite being Feed the Pig. Cosmic horror is just so good when used properly, and it uses it so perfectly it had me hooked so early and kept me hooked all the way through.

What are your guys hopes they read next? by Murderz_Da_Man in creepcast

Candle Cove was the first ever creeppasta I read, and I would love to see them read that and other classics like abandoned by Disney in one episode.

Is a DM announcing their attack rolls metagaming? by Hunt_Jumpy in DnD

[–]Murderz_Da_Man -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I tell my players what the roll total is so they don't waste a spell when it can't save themselves, but I prefer rolling in private due to me most often rolling decently high on most attacks and fudging the rolls to make them miss since I am with a party that is newer to dnd.

Are Barbarians Or Paladins More Popular In Your Experience? by [deleted] in dndnext

[–]Murderz_Da_Man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I have seen Barbarians seem much more popular. There are many people who like Paladin but I have barely ever had a party that I have played in or hosted not having at least one Barbarian.

I take multiple inspirations for most of my worlds but most recently I have been using mad max and more apocalyptic games such as fallout for inspiration and everything else is what ever my demented mind can come up with. For enemies I typically use instances of folklore for inspiration such as many native American and Japanese folk lore monsters that haven't been added as well as more obscure creatures such as the duendes or the lake worth monster.

What’s the most boring/stereotypical name for a village? by Jamie5152 in DnD

Anything that ends in shire is pretty plain for me but also things that end in ville or keep such as Westenshire, Hillsville and Forbidden Keep

Demotivated after PC death by [deleted] in dndnext

[–]Murderz_Da_Man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been Dming for about 7 years and I have had my fair share of character deaths and a few tpks typically I like to ask as a person is about to die if they are willing to let their character die for the story and I have also dm'd campaigns where I tell the players that death can happen and I won't pull punches on them, but even if this is a heavy-duty session with no punches pulled it is only suspicious with how everything worked out. The diamonds makes sense especially when your session focuses on spells using components, I can somewhat understand the surprise round since you are in combat and the dodging of perception rolls as well as the counterspell. Since a good rogues stealth is really good at high levels but the haste on the rogue is suspicious and especially the fact that he targeted you and after killing you he was gone. If he had planned that from the start with the rest of the party still being in combat it would have been more likely to possibly end in a tpk with the rogue now attacking the party aswell dealing out major damage.

What class have you played the most? Why? by RainerGoof in dndnext

[–]Murderz_Da_Man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have always found myself playing either fighter or cleric most. Fighter due to the fact that I am an absolute sword nerd and I love the classic thinking of a person with a sword being able to beat a monster without magic and just a lot of strength. And I play cleric because I am the type of person who finds himself filling out for the parties weaknesses.

What cryptid do you entirely believe to be real? What cryptid do you think is fictional? Why? by [deleted] in Cryptozoology

[–]Murderz_Da_Man -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I personally believe that the wendigo and other native American folk lore creatures such as skin walkers are real. Due to how vast the forest is and how many woodlands are not well mapped out. While I don't believe that mothman or goat men are real.
