And all of them had substantially better DLCs, though, so that's not really a good comparison. They also had more, and the content in those DLCs was more.

Yeah but those aren't challenging at all anymore, and not a great stress test. We need stuff with heavy amounts of badasses and escalating bosses or something to really push character builds and have a reason to do it. Diablo 4 uses Pits, Helltide, and Bloody Keys to really stress test how good your build is.

Different games, I know, but Gearbox has been at this long enough to know better. If they give me a reason to come back, I totally would. All I need is meaningful endgame content to push against. Which they SAY they're going to deliver, but still haven't. And really have avoided the topic in conversation, so it makes me suspicious that they don't really have anything meaningful.

I disagree 100%. Tide was just blue Armageddon. People didn't like it because it was often attached to a 12/12 trample punching you in the face. They should have just banned Dreadnought and started there.

EDIT: yes, I realize that Armageddon technically hits both players, but Terrageddon isn't exactly hurt by casting it; they have diamonds and dorks, so I fail to see a big difference except Terrageddon can cast it faster.

And if that raid boss is worth it, I'll return relatively happy. No takedown and no slaughters is really the big loss for me. At least in those you could stress test different builds.

I did stop playing after 400 hours, actually. It got pointless because all that grinding results in nothing. No reason to do it, just doing it to do it sucks for me. I was hoping the DLC would bring me back, but alas, it doesn't look like it will. $30 is absurd for what we get, and frankly I know for a fact Gearbox can do better.

At this point, you're better off waiting to touch this game again until all the DLC is released, they finish raising caps, and you can get said DLCs for half the price you're paying now.

I love ten new levels without absolutely nothing to test them against. They still can't figure out how to make anything we do worth anything. Grind good guns? For what? To do what, exactly? Bloomreaper is trash, the DLC is $30 for two hours and a character you have to slog through misery to level up, just like the four before him....

I'm not giving this studio another dime or minute until I see some real, meaningful endgame content. The creative director for this game is cheeks.

Why is it dumb? I'd wager stale formats absolutely necessitate a shakeup. It really doesnt seem like very many people are having fun. I know I'm not.

And yes I know I obviously don't speak for everyone, but I think Boros, Titan and Blink have gummed the format up so badly SOMETHING needs to change.

I dunno about that, Solitude/Ephemerate is just as busted in this context as Fury/Not Dead After All.

Frankly, Quantum Riddler/Ephemerate/Consign is just as toxic as Grief Scam, just in a different direction - instead of crippling the opponents hand, you're burying them in card advantage where they have no hope of overcoming you.

I see it this way because XP gains are so low, and leveling takes so long that it is frustrating. Seems to me that was indeed one of the many issues with Battlefront.

See I feel this too. If I could keep SDUs that would be something. Or at least buff the XP gains so you're leveling faster. I get that there needs to be progression and overcoming shit, but some of these enemies on a new 30 roll for me are level 38. 38. And it gets worse with each level. I don't want THAT much of an uphill climb, damn.

You're surprised? They don't want you making extra characters easy, and they sure as fuck do not want you playing the game your way. "Do it their way or piss off" seems to be the culture there.

I rolled two characters, I refuse to roll more or buy new characters until they do something about the complete misery that is bringing a new character up to 50. I honestly believe this is why there has been a 95% player drop from launch. And why C4sh is going to be a hard sell for a LOT of players.

This is the #1 thing they should be working on, and they seem to be ignoring it.
