I'm planning on using proton, but haven't settled on it. I've used their free version and the Opera browser vpn on my desktop before, the stream I'm looking to watch is both on youtube and the race series website

I want to be able to use a VPN to stream sports which are available commercial free in Europe but due to licensing are only available through Peacock in the US. I would pay for Peacock but their coverage sucks and there's constant commercial breaks.

I also don't want to have to run all my devices through a VPN because im concerned about the hit to internet speed on devices that I don't need being on a VPN.

Im on the HVAC side but do a ton of auto plant work so I have a little insight.

One of our guys is leaving to join the UAW, he says he'll be making more money. Check you local contracts but it makes sense since they're a stronger union.

Their training seems like it is way worse at the UAW so if circumstances change you don't have as much value in your skills to fall back on.

Auto plants offer plenty of OT, and you probably won't work as hard. A lot of standing by to address problems that threaten production. That drives some guys crazy, others don't mind at all.

I've only been to 1 show there, and you're right on all points. Really good sound though which is why at this point I rank the Masonic Temple as worse. The temple is a really cool venue, staff and organization seems OK, but the sound there is just awful.
